I got an abscessed tooth, and very little sleep. On a more positive note, Paula got me this electrified three string cigar box guitar. Pretty nifty little device & it's actually playable!

I've got a 67 SG Special with a tiny neck that I'm not really a fan of, and a 62 LP Junior (SG Body) and it's neck is kind of Ibanez wide 'n thin. I rocked the 62 at practice last night, and that guitar is very fat sounding for no more than what it is. Personally, I'd avoid the 70s/80s models with the small block inlays & the Schaller harmonica bridges & look for a nice used 00s RI model.

So far the Tom Petty episode has been my favorite. I dug the black flying V a LOT. Angus' energy amazed me on the AC/DC episode. I don't think I could run across stage one time without stopping at the other side to fire up a smoke & collapse. Lil' sucker did not stop moving the entire time!

Got a Fillmore set in my R8. These are awesome RAWKNROOOOOOOOOOOL pickups. I have a Darkburst in my Korina V, sounds pretty darn good. I do think it might be better suited in a Lester however.

Got a copy of it yesterday, couldn't listen to it until last night thanks to my CD drive in the office PC taking a shit but that's neither here nor there.... I like it, but like all y'all (plural form of y'all) have said, it doesn't rock as hard as the other. BUT! It's 'Growing on Me' hahhahaha Hazel Eyes kicks arse IMHO. Really wish they'd gotten Up Shit Creek on this one instead of that dreadful English Garden piece of shit. The lyrics to Knockers cracks me up. Hope they churn out the B sides like they did with the last record.
