Several... '64 SG Special that the guy offered up for $400. I really wanted that thing, but since I was so broke at the time, I didn't even get near it for fear of falling head over heels for it. '68 Tele that had relic'd into this odd orange/white Holstein cow pattern. At the time, I didn't have any appreciation of Teles. '61 SG/Les Paul Junior that this older gent traded for a new MIM Strat with FLOYD ROSE. I shamed the salesman for that transaction. Anyhoo, as I checked it out, the old man warned me not to play any music on it that was "Unsanctified". So I waited til he left & started blasting Black Sabbath riffs with it. All of these happened back in my early 20s when I was in college, at the time if it woulda cost me a nickel to poop, I'd had to throw up instead.

But he uses Gold Adamantium Frets!

Over the years, I'd half ass it when it came to a Marshall. I've had some pretty crap Marshall products. I should have just sucked it up & got a JMP or a JCM 800 back then & been done with it. So, I'd like to recommend a used 50watt JMP or JCM800. In other words, YMMV, IMO, etc... avoid the Valvestate & MG Marshalls and go the full monty on a 2204 of some sort. Sides...if you hate it, you can always flip it for about what you have in it.

Got this one from our very own HFC Bro, Bruce919. Great guitar, had to let her go this summer. I kinda miss her at times.

Please excuse the crude descriptions, but IMO: Korina has a bit more 'snarl' in the upper mids and a little bit less 'ass' in the bottom end. Not enough to screw up getting your chug chug on, mind you. I get plenty of chug outta my Korina guitars. I think it's a bit lighter too, so that's a plus in my book. A shoulder that is not sore after a 4 hour gig, is a happy shoulder.

One time I was talking in my sleep and my wife swears I was referring to myself as "Vincent Prawni" My '08 Hamer Std has the tele jack cup, and it's a bit of love/hate for me*. It won't accept certain 90 angle plugs & that just pisses me off to no end. *Edited for actual Hamer content.
