bry4321 Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 (edited) I am thinking $gone shipped. 5 packs total. Purchased within the last 18 months. Just don’t want them to go to waste. Edited July 13, 2025 by bry4321 Quote
scottcald Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 Curious, didn't get along with 'em or did you move to Billy G's 7s? 1 Quote

LOL I didn't get along with them. May be my imagination, but the pressure of my fingers seemed to bend the strings out of tune too easily. How and why I wound up with 5 sets is a mystery to me. Bennyboy-UK Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 I use 8-40 on my Virtuoso - they feel very natural on the slightly longer scale length. 2 Quote
ZR Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 Bryan was cool to let these go for cheap. I told him at 61 I've had a few surgeries on my arm and I wanted to try the lighter gauge. I mean I've tried eights before but it's probably been decades! Has anybody tried sevens? Quote
Hbom Posted July 27, 2025 Posted July 27, 2025 (edited) I tried Rev. Willy's Mexican Lottery Brand 7s a while back. 3-4 years ago. Arthritis of the left hand was getting worse, and I hoped they would help. They were good strings but didn't help my hand and sounded a bit wimpy. So I went back to 10s. scottcald Posted August 1, 2025 Posted August 1, 2025 I'm waiting for ol' Billy Gibbons to say he's got a spider that strings webs across all his guitars to his spec. 2 2 Quote
