I got an Anderson at a Pawn Shop so I was definitely planning on buying a high quality gig bag. I'm tempted to buy two. I'd slightly prefer black.

I have one, although not in red, and it has not had any issues and serves my purpose well.  It's not a Mono Vertigo by any means, but much better than the gig bags of yore.

@Dave ScepterUnfortunately you can find people complaining about zippers on the Mono's that now cost $300 also. I would say, zippers are often repairable.

That would be a great, “Outer Limits”, episode. Suicidal guitarists (who can’t quite pull the trigger) purchase poorly-made gig bags knowing they’ll have but a year to live.

MONO offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty covering their guitar cases against defects in materials and manufacturing for the practical lifespan of the product. However, it does not cover standard wear and tear, cosmetic issues, or airline baggage damage

Both companies consider zippers to me war and tear. I'm not really trying to defend either company, as I have stuff from both and love the Mono gig bag that came with my Harmony comet. It's just that I see it for what it is.

My Gator bag arrived.

The box was marked as Heavy, Team Lift.  And that's for the empty case, no guitar inside.

Do you think singers will consider that adequate reason to pitch in with carrying the gear?
