For our friends that like things alittle more pointy:

1984 Hamer Vector-s/n 4 11575, Original and rare blueburst finish ( I have seen only one other vector and two blitz’s with this finish) with sustain block tremelo. 9.5 /10 condition, very little playing wear, 100% stock, except for missing one of the thumb screws for the hamer/Schaller locking tuner (I might be able to find it). OHSC.

In case you didn't see my last two posts here are few notes for prospective buyers:

I rather not do paypal. Cashier's check or money order please. I am also not looking for trades at this time. I also rather keep all transactions domestic, but am willing to discuss that with our overseas friends.

Offers can be made but please try not to be too insulting.

Thanks for your time.

Peter.

If that Vector had a "pointier" headstock (like a Vector Korina or a Vector KK or a Gibson Flying V), I would jump over it right now. But gosh, those "smashed" headstocks look so ugly on a Vee!

Edited: Are there actually stock Vectors with pointier headstocks?

I too find the "smooshed" headstock on a vector to look odd. Considering it looks just fine on a sunburst or any other doublecut guitar.

The pointier headstock was on the KK and the Korina guitars. You will also find it on some of the vectors that came out in the 80's as well (usually ordered that way). Send me an email if there is something particular you are looking for (features and such) and I might be able to help you out.

I like those headstock so there! I have one of the Blueburst Blitzes. Nice Vector but I need no more Floyds.

I PM'ed you since I couldn't find your email on this thread. But in short I am looking for a mahogany V (Hamer Vector or Gibson Flying V from the eighties), without any tremolo system, a pointy headstock, preferably an ebony fingerboard, good straight neck and on a fair overall and playable condition. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Indeed - those pointy-head Vectors were custom orders, and I've seen a lot of that feature, relatively speaking.

There are a few around, But they seem to keep getting harder to find.

Here's mine with a OFR and finished in the "none more black" ultimate rock-n-roll color.:)

Hello: I just sent you an email. Feel free to drop me a line if you still have an interest.

Also, just a note that the Vector is "on Hold" for a Great Fellow HFC'er.

Thanks all that responded.

Peter.
