93 Les Paul Standard Honeyburst

I'm selling an all original 93 LP Standard in great shape. It has virtually no fretwear and no dings. The only signs of age are at the fretboard binding where it meets the frets. It's starting to crack slightly at the fret edges like all vintage Les Pauls. It includes the original case. Email for a full set of pics. $1500 shipped and paypalled.

Its a shame your so far away, I wont buy a gibson unless I have seen it in the flesh but that I would be all over that.

We've known Chris for a long time and I (as well as many others) have done a few deals with him. Each one going as smooth as glass.

If he says it's a good guitar, then it's a good guitar.

I wasn't knocking Chris in anyway what so ever at all.

But I prefer to be my own judge of something that comes down to opinion.

Don't get me wrong - I didn't mean to imply that you were knocking Chris.

I just wanted to tell you if you were holding back from buying a guitar because you didn't know the seller well enough, that a lot of guys here can vouch for him and his ability to "pick a good one" and describe it honestly when selling it.

The early 90's LP's are highly regarded. I've owned a '92 and it was an excellent sounding/plaing instrument. Even the Tonequest report raves about that era LP's.l

Somebody grab it. That's a good price and in demand in the market!

Agreed-I had a 92 TV Yellow LP Standard that was the best LP I've owned.

My opinion still stands that the regular production Gibsons from '88 - '94 were their high point. Not saying that current or older stuff isn't good, but they were most consisitent. I've owned many Gibs from that period, purchased a few of them new, sight unseen, and not a bad one in the bunch. The only one I didn't warm up to was the 40th Anniversary Les Paul, but that was strictly a pickup thing.

This one is right smack in that production era and Chris is a trusted guy around here. Don't forget...it has "the look"!!

Thanks for the props, fellas.

Greg,

I would love to to trade, but the wife has been hammering the credit card pretty hard lately so I'm in cash-out mode.

+1 on that. Me too. Good guy indeed.
