Peter would probably recall better than me, but I think that the original seller (the guy Ronad got it from) sold it for around $1000. I recall at the time both Peter and I bid at or near his asking price and he sold it to Ed. Whatever it was, it wasn't much. At the time, it probably was and I was thinking "what the hell would I do with a 7 string"?
