Guest JackButler Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 First off, MUCH thanks to everyone here who has supported "Intelli-Shred" over the past 2-3 years. Word of mouth and referrals from here has played a GIANORMOUS part of that books success. Got the word minutes ago! Alfred and NGW got 'em in the warehouse! I knew it was coming.. didn't know when until I just got the call! "ARPEGGIO MADNESS!" The follow up companion to my first book "Intelli-Shred" for NGW (National Guitar Workshop) and Alfred Music Pub/Warner Bros. https://www.guitarworkshop.com/store/produc...at=0&page=1 or http://www.alfred.com/Products/Arpeggio-Ma...--00-32662.aspx Here's the blurb: Have you ever wondered how your favorite guitarists can play endless streams of notes that always sound like they fit the song? The secret is arpeggios, or "broken" chords that are played one note at a time. Arpeggios can turn simple chord progressions into shred guitar masterpieces. Arpeggio Madness breaks down the art of playing arpeggios and even analyzes the styles of guitarists who incorporate them into their playing, including guitar gods like Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Randy Rhoads, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, and many others. Learn techniques like hammer-ons, pull-offs, tapping, string skipping, and sweep picking, and see how to visualize patterns on the fretboard so you can play arpeggios effortlessly. Designed for intermediate to advanced guitarists, this book increases your speed, fluidity, and fretboard knowledge to help you develop your own personalized arpeggio style. A CD demonstrating the examples in the book is included.
