Good P90's in a humbucker shape And good looks

Hi there,

I would like to replace the humbuckers of a Hamer Standard to have a p90's guitar. I'd love to try the Jason Lollar soapbars.

Is there any device over which to mount regular soapbars on a humbucker pickup holes? Something like a ring to adapt the p90 pickup or so?

Many P90s are available in humbucker form shape. I don't know if the Lollars are available in humbucker shape, but it should be worth a mail to find out.

I just realized you are located in the EU. You should check the hand wired P94 from LeoSounds.de. They are truly P90 sounding and come in humbucker size format.

The LeoSounds are excellent sounding in Hamer Standards. I can tell from my own experiences.

Harmonic Design Z-90

PhatCats are awesome, very much like Duncan's P-90 pickups. The Z-90 is more like a mega-fat Strat pickup than a P-90, with a huge bottom end. It's an amazing pickup, but very unique. I hear the Dream 90 also isn't really a P-90-sounding pickup. I've heard good things about the Mean 90.

I've got a set of BG Pure 90s in one of my SGs and love them. They sound just like regular P90s to my ears.

I'm a big fan of the Harmonic Design Z-90s. Not only do they sound fantastic, you can get them with pearloid or tortoise shell top bobbins.

That one already came!! I posted some pictures on a thread in another category but I have to update them. It showed on the workshop blog as the black beauty and it's a killer guitar. I'll post some other pics.

I prefer the black knobs and rings with the bottom bridge. Thanks
