Ting Ho Dung Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 I know this model was discussed here last year but I can't remember what it was and what the mini toggle is for. Ting Ho Dung Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 T-62. The mini switch activates an internal preamp/EQSo is it a Daytona on steroids or a beast of its own?
burningyen Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Smaller body, different sound, definitely a beast of its own. I didn't bond with mine, but YMMV.
ptm1diver Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I may be off bass here, but is this the green Daytona that was for sale for a long time in North New Jersey that the owner would not ship? I emailed about that guitar from the C-List but received no response. This looks a lot like it at first glance, but maybe its a different guitar.
Rodan Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I like T62's! Weird, reduced body shape...that fast birdseye neck...If they went for less dough, I'd be in trouble.
cynic Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 This one's relisted here.I've never seen a Hamer serial that starts with a letter, in this case a "C".Can anyone shed any light on that?
cynic Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Thanks, it was so clearly a C in my mind I never thought it might not be.
atquinn Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 That looks exactly like the one I had for a few months right down to the matching headstock. I believe I got it from Kizanski? I greatly prefer my current Daytona, which is not something I ever would have expected.-Austin
morningstar Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 had several of both. Daytonas are better if you like a comfy neck. It you like a shred profile, the T-62 sounds incredible. I am old so the T-62 gave me that base-of-the-thumb cramp. Oh well. That matching headstock is unusual. I once had a Gold-Gold Daytona I got from Hectorp. Never shoulda sold that one. It was awesome.
