Ting Ho Dung Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I take it there was a race last night? Happy Mother's Day everyone.
Steve Haynie Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 A shame it is languishing where it is instead of being played on a regular basis. Yeah. Some of us could put it to better use!
bubs_42 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I love that Logo, we need to get some of those made up for our rework projects. If I remember correctly RN had the same logo on his Korina Standard.
BTMN Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Shishkov remembers everything! Those R.N. checkerboards were made from old stock GSTM's.As in Guitar STandard Mahogany? Like the '97 issue Mahogany Standards?
BTMN Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 http://s1148.photobucket.com/user/BTMN128/media/97ham4.jpg.html'> One of my favorite editions of the Standard.
bubs_42 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 My favorite as well. I sold Hamerhead my last one and it is a stellar guitar. I chose my 4 digit over it as the keeper but I hardly touch the 4 digit and I played the Hog almost daily.
crunchee Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Here's the Korina Standard that was mentioned above, in action. It appears to have the same headstock logo as mine:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vp3dQvIznjI
bubs_42 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I've seen that logo before and though that was it. Thanks Crunchee
Cary Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Interesting. Here's a crappy pic of one at the HRC in Niagra Falls. Wonder how many are out there?
singlehum Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 Note that the checkerboard layout differs slightly between the two. Just sayin'.
Cary Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Note that the checkerboard layout differs slightly between the two. Just sayin'. Exactly. You can tell right away it's not the same guitar being rotated between locations.
