Jimbilly Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 One of my pet peeves: the confusion about what "3/4" means in the guitar world. I was visiting an older cousin yesterday, he had an old Gibson acoustic out, a B25 iirc. He explained and sort of apologized that it was (just) "3/4 size", I questioned him about the size vs scale (he had no idea), it looked like a pretty normal 00 or something size to me, his wife found me a tape measure: 24.75" scale on that one. I tried to explain Strat vs LP scale, but the wine bottle was too low by then, I'll try to explain it to him again later. 4 Quote
django49 Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 Amongst other stuff I accumulated over the years. An old flight case for an ES-335. Stickers and back stage passes suggest it was used by someone associated with Bob Welch/Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Beach Boys and the Muktananda World tour. Seemingly from Los Angeles to New Zealand. Cannot recall who I bought it from in Santa Monica. Or why....... I wonder if anyone actually uses this stuff any more......🤔 5 Quote
