I've got me two acoustics, a Hamer Phantom A5, a custom-built V (built from leftovers) and another guitar I'll post about in short. A good way to fight anxiety, I guess? But seriously, I'm soooo looking forward to the closing of the Ultimate run! Because if things continue the same, I'll go broke before getting my custom Shish.

It's funny, but I'm in the opposite boat: while waiting on the closing of [my part of] the Ultimate run [to make the final payment, that is], I haven't been buying any guitars! It's probably been a good thing given what Santella and cwgatti have been posting in the FS board!

Meaning that I've purchased... six guitars lately!? Oh boy!BTW, I also ordered a set of Shlabotniks. Already got'em. Now I'm looking for... er... a guitar to put them on. Gosh!

I wasn't gonna say anything at first since I figured you all would leap on the Phantom for proof and I truly in my heart-of-hearts believe that zorrow would custom order a V acoustic.

One of the acoustic is a Takamine EA360, which Gilles already secured for me in Europe. It's a "Flyng A" --more than a V. Mine's is exactly like this: The other acoustic is a Gallato Django D'Etude, exactly like this one: Both are to be used on the Gypsy Jazz project where I play rhythm guitar now. The V acoustic is just because we play several Russian standards which often are played using balalaikas, so we'll go for "the look" on those. But the one I'm playing at this very moment is the Gallato, while the Takamine is still offshore. The Phantom A5 is the white one Steve used as his main guitar during several years. Funny enough, I intended to do the same, but then I quit my pop/latin/folk/funk/reggae project and now I'm just playing acoustic. If you still want some pics, I should have some, somewhere. It has a Kahler trem and a 6-in-line headstock.
