seeker Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Just a couple. Slowing down 9X P-90 Special (was galejt's) 03 Elite Gold Top
Camstone Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Just one, an awesome '02 Duotone that is my #1 stage guitar. Ordered something custom last September that's being built right now with the help of BCR Greg that's shure be a shorts stainer, but we'll save that for '06 since it's still just bits of wood and metal at this stage.Happy New Year!
Jon_Press Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Happy New Year to all of you from me and Laura. May 2006 bring you all your dreams and none of your nightmares. No new Hamers for us in '05. I hardly ever touch my basses (Chap and 2nd generation Cruise w/Gotoh bridge) and she really hardly ever plays any of hers besides "The Laura Press Model" 6 string Duotone anyway (and no none of the others are for sale). Besideds, I am still recovering from that last custom order ("The Ultimate 12 Duotone" as someone here called it). I am sure most of you have seen this, but I will put this link up anyway. I love this clip. Enjoy.http://www.youtube.com/watch.php?v=tm7DDGkbXYU&search=guita
BTMN Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 MMMMM it was a good year for Hamer hunting. In February I picked up this Import Hamer Standard, Ralphie pictured here with his fellow Import Dean '79 Series Z Louie I got in March trying to be ambidextrious or sum-ting, they have both departed. In May I scored this MOST EXCELLANT '97 Mahogany Standard by way of Sonicblue1960, Brewmaster, and Bruce919, . Ole '97 could be the best guitar I own. I wasn't in Minneapolis 30 minutes last July when I knew this one was coming home with me. Chucky was/is a GREAT guitar, imnsho, but I got Korina Fever for this one fellow HFC'er Tomjoyce was selling on Evilbay for a real decent BIN. While my AK10-46 is a great guitar I do regret selling Chucky and might have to try to get that one back someday. Edited to add: I forgot about Vug the Lil Ol' Vector from Tejas!!! He came to Florida in November or so.
zygleth Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Nasty year for me: 94 Diablo 2005 Monaco Elite 59 burst 2005 Monaco Super Pro Amberburst 97 Special FM - 59 burst And I think a 96 Cherry Special w/P90's Pic's to follow Why do you need an amp, they're optional? OK - I did get a new Epiphone Elitist too but don't want to get kicked off this thread. Happy new year all.
hamersandstrats Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Gene, that's a beautiful studio you got there, congrats and happy new year to all!

I would like to trim down to 4 guitars however everything I have right now is a keeper.HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
hamersandstrats Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 2005 has been my best guitar year to date, I managed to pick up some real keepers, but only one Hamer. 2004 Heritage Prospect (Bought from a friend, great blues guitar)2005 Plaintop R8 (I know, it's a Gibson, but its a real good Gibson)1989 Eric Clapton Strat-(great all around gigging guitar, had to own this one due to the Warren Haynes/ Blue Sky connection, awesome neck)1998 Hamer Standard Custom- I've gushed about this one enough, but I'll say it again-perhaps the best crafted electric guitar I've ever played-awesome finish, gorgeous inlays, perfect binding and it's under 9 pounds!

BTMN Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 WOW!!! This thread is BAD!!!!!!! H/S2 I sold the Studio to get the Artist Korina HB. Not a great move but a good one. As I said in my post, I wouldn't mind getting Chucky back someday. Here is a closer shot of the top. iownit4 has it now up your way not far from L.I. BTW, that Standard is the SHIZZZZZZ and that Black Daytona I got from you lil over 3 years ago is still whipping it up here!!!
formula73 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 2: A pretty black Hockey Stick Blitz with a Floyd and a Vector KK that needs a little work but is pretty much badass anyway! More to come in 06, I'm sure!
m chops Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 A 3 hole duotone. And I broke ranks and customed ordered a G&L ASAT. (But only because Hamer doesn't make T-51s anymore.) Bruce, I understand the orange thing.
