Tokyo Tapes Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I'm looking for a 4 digit Standard . It has to be sunburst or natural, all original without breakes or cracks. I don't mind if it's been played a lot as long as it's straight. Preferable a low serial # and bound and crowned, but anything is interesting. Ulf

Tokyo Tapes Posted January 3, 2006 Author Posted January 3, 2006 Hi Jim I've been in contact with Greg already. The dotted Standard he has is indeed a kool guitar, but I'm looking for an earlier one and perhaps even b/c. Thanks /Ulf

cmatthes Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Anything? It is rare that you see one, much less four, 4-digits up at once.
Jeff R Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 The third one, that t-burst, man oh man that's sweet looking.
Gabe Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Hey Ulf, Congrats on your purchase. That must be a killer guitar with a killer top and a killer sound. I hope you are going to use it yourself and not sell it. Please tell us about it in a while. We want to know how it sounds and what it feels like. Gabe

Tokyo Tapes Posted January 24, 2006 Author Posted January 24, 2006 Thanks guysYes, I was at the NAMM show and met up with Kilroy there. The 0148 is a great guitar and, at least for me, defines what a 4 digit standard should look and feel like./Ulf
