Hamer screws?

I don't think I'm the only one who is irritated by having a guitar arrive either missing or with oddball replacement screws.  My main interest right now is in the trem and control cavity plate screws - can we still get the OEM item?  Or what is a reasonable facsimile?

Dimarzio or Allparts pickup ring mounting screws? That's what the OEM looks like to me.

I was missing some screws on a used Hamer I bought. Emailed Hamer about it. A week or two later an envelope drops in the mailbox, full of small black screws. With a card from Kim Keller. Now I am in Stockholm, Sweden. So he sent it right over the pond to me. How is that for customer support, I did not even buy the guitar new!

Keller was Da Bomb.  When a lot of folks barrel jacks started giving up, Hamer sourced a replacement.  I called Kim about it, asked for one.  He asked how many guitars I had with that type of jack and he sent me one for each of them, without saying he was going to do it.

All Parts screws are very soft so be aware. Guitar electronics ones are OK but longer. I would try Philadelphia Luthiers Supply, they are great and carry quality parts and cheaper.

The ones I had to replace turned out to be Philips flat head #2 wood screws.

Good luck trying to find them.  I got lucky and found a couple of packages at Menards in the wood screw section.
