I want this guitar very badly.  I haven't ever bonded with Cali Elites, and I don't like double-locking trems anymore, but the idea of scallops and boomers with an ebony board...

I'm sure there's a dibs list somewhere, and I'm at the point in the galaxy furthest from it, but I'd like to be notified if it ever ends up being put up for sale.

Neil wants it too, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Gentlemen! Say hello to Brian's Guitars. Great guy.

And WHAT A GUITAR!!! Outrageously good. Perfectly balanced sound-wise, and craftsmanship of the body - superb. Just SUPERB! I just got Soloist SLATQH CS and PRS Private stock not long ago, and this thing is absolutely on par with them. Slanted pickup you said? Phuck it - first moment you lay your hands on her, you forget about it. It's like that gorgeous woman with perfect body and soul and one lazy eye. Screw it, the other one is still looking right at you.

Thanks cwgatti for the tip.

Did you tell him who helped get that thing sold?

Meh...

While I have no issues with the normal, askew  2 H alignment on Cali's , I can honestly say I don't like this. Less so because of the positioning and more so because of the color. Bleeeccchhhh. The good news is: they are easy to swap out. ;)

Brian's is on the way to my office, but I only go to the office a handful of times a year lol.  He sold me a 1950 L7 (and a Speedy West pedal steel), and a few months later when I walked in I jokingly said "i don't suppose you have another' and he pulled out a beater 1946 L7 that sounded even better than the 1950. He has some really nice inventory, and I'm afraid to walk back in there lol.
