'90 Californian Elite, USA, so stupid clean I hate to understimate by calling it "excellent" considering it's 16 years old. Pink/black granite finish (let's count all of those we've seen recently) in excellent condition. Really excellent, there's a clearcoat scrape about the size of a pencil eraser by the ass strap pin on the face, but you have to tilt the guitar to see it in the light reflection. That trivial. My regional dealer rep has been shucking Hamer for about 20 years and one of his shops sold this guitar back in '90. I caught him at my local dealer when I had this with me and when I pulled it out, his words were "I never got that finish, but THAT ONE was the best sounding Cali that EVER passed through any of my dealers." He's right - I bought this guitar for the sound, all the parts came together on this one. Bridge pickup sound is a round Les Paul, neck pickup is a fat howling no-hum strat. It's very lightweight for a Cali - I hated Californians until I scored this one. Completely cared for and unmolested, factory Parallel Axis pickups, solder joints untouched. OHSC and unsigned warranty card in the case. This thing absolutely rocks and I'm only selling because my wife is a loud nag whinebag who hates the idea that I grew up in the 80s, so I need to kill off anything that reminds her of that if I expect to inherit any sense of peace and quiet. Namely quiet. Shit, she's loud and ballistic lately ... oh yeah, I brought a guitar home tonight, mebbe that's why hahahaha $800 shipped, insured and packed to survive a war.
