bubs_42 Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 This is the one I bought brand new at GC, I picked it up and couldn't leave without it. It sounds so damn good into an EL84 amp. Fairly light, I would say a hair under 8lbs. Rings out loud and proud, Rosewood board, completely stock. Condition: It had been dropped directly on the rear strap peg at the store at some point. And suffered a couple impression on the back of the body, some marks on the bottom of the guitar. I took it to Josh's Guitar Shop, he had to humidify it before working on it, and everything came out great. No frets are any issues occurred from being dry. Josh cleaned the frets, he doweled the strap button and I put new button on it. So it is not MINT, but I still think that what every happened made it better. Like ringing a gun barrel and getting all the stresses out of it. There is NO paint missing on the area's pictured. The paint is "nitro" it turned milky were it took a slight impact. Its not dented but the paint is just not clear. It is also not cracked and the finish is solid. The wood is stunning on this guitar. I will be checking in this weekend on a limited basis. Getting in some father/son time with my dad this weekend. Sorry for the non natural light shots. Its late! Thanks, Shawn! HAHA about the bags! Walmart no take bags back for recycling so I have a massive stash. I packed two guitars this week and that... well it solved my problem. And that case fits perfectly to a Les Paul and I would highly recommend them to anyone out there. It holds them snug and tight.
