SOLD: Hamer Monaco at Carter Vintage

I know a lot of you love Monacos...I've been holding out for a Monaco III but this one looks great!

I just picked up one of these (Monaco Super Pro) and it's stunningly articulate, between the big hollow body and the 25.5 inch scale length.

I don't blame you.  Why settle for one cutaway when you can have two?  After closer inspection, it turns out that this particular guitar is a Monaco SuperPro anyway.  I know that some SuperPro owners love them, but I love my Newport Pro.

Copy says pickups are Seth Lovers, I thought they came with different pickups?

Stock pups were SD Custom and Custom-Custom, but mine has Alnico II Pros, and it sings with those lower output PAFs (I'm sure Seth's or Pearly Gates would be amazing, too).

What He Said. They sound great in this guitar. But if you want a mean, grunting, LP on stereoids put a JB in the bridge, never liked a JB much until I put it in my Super Pro.
Keep that Custom in the neck, it's a match made in heaven. And roll both volumes off to around 8, then you have a fantastic paf sound from both pups. Need more balls, roll it up to 10 and you will shave the hair from your band mates heads.
