Jimbilly Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 at a pawn shop locally, I'm thinking mutt, real neck and plate, but other parts squier?
Victor (Fret Friend) Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 That is not a Fender bridge (saddles are not Fender) or a Fender backplate. Backplate and pickguard should match. Serial dates it to 2009-2010 Corona. Pickguard is likely an upgrade as it has plastic film on it. As you said, it's likely a Squier body...

topekatj Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Could be the angle of the first photo but the ‘knob’ on the tip of the headstock just looks wrong, as well as the angle of the logo decal.
Jimbilly Posted April 21, 2022 Author Posted April 21, 2022 another thing that doesn't show up great in my photo (1st photo), the word STRATOCASTER is not very sharp, and a little worn looking for an otherwise low-mileage guitar.

topekatj Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 FWIW I’m seeing flat pole single coils and a humbucker with no adjustable pole pieces
