Me, I'm going back to film.

I'll do the day-to-day stuff can be done on an iPad or iPhone.

Where do you go to get film developed these days? Or is a "do it yourself" thing?

Biggest thing I tell people on the iPhone if they don't know, is to hold it like a camera and use the volume up or down buttons to take the picture. Much better feel than hitting the screen button IMO.

On my phone, I just say "cheese,  shoot or capture " and it takes the picture 📸 or movie 🎬  which comes in pretty handy

You can get a wide assortment of 135 film (35mm) at most pro camera shops in the USA.

And there's plenty of film developers available.

All can be digitized and/or transferred to prints.

All of them thuper thexxxay shots that Platzer used to do were done with a Nikon CoolPix P310.  I got one primarily for my real estate photography.  I like having something solid in my hand as well.  Shoots waay better than I do, very flexible for a point and shoot has lasted for maybe 10 years. My $0.02.

I got a Nikon Coolpix S9700 about 8 years ago that does everything I want and probably a lot more. The camera biz being what it is, I'm sure it was obsoleted by another model about 7 years ago.
