  2. Why do I feel like I'm in the fraternity house TV room, 1985, 2:00 A.M. with an unmistakable soupçon of a Columbian brush fire in the air?
  3. $1,099 plus shipping: Hamer USA Daytona 1994 OHSC | Reverb Beautiful AND it has both the trem arm and the OHS case! No mention of weight, which can often be an issue with these. ETA: no affiliation

  4. Pant legs... > "pants" Shirt sleeves...> "shirt" Make it make sense.
  5. Hey, even without strings on, I bet that neck pickup is chimier than your fuckin SG 🤣

  7. But that doesn't make it work....

  9. One torso and two legs...🤔🤷‍♂️
  10. How does that blue one work?
  11. I remember those, the WRC "RITZ" Neptune guitar.
  12. Yep, the entire community of Paradise, CA, ceases to exist, thanks to our gas/elec utility, PG&E. They were responsible for two other major wildfires that year. Fuck them.
  13. He really did make some interesting guitars in the years after he sold the company to Grove Jackson. I still remember how gutted people were when his home burned in 2018, as it contained a lot of truly unique items, and also probably pretty much meant the end of his guitar building days. When you lose all of your stuff and equipment its hard to start from scratch in your 70s.
  14. Closest I've ever been to having a Charvel is one of these, Wayne-designed. Interesting guitars. Looks very much like this: Not sure how long he lasted there, or if it was just a contract gig, or what the real story was with them. He certainly had a profound effect on the guitar world. When I worked in a store here like 25 years ago, we had a 'Wayne' guitar that was covered in a shell material. I remember it being rather cool.
  15. I've reached an age where I am starting to plot in my head that at some point in the next couple of years, I need to start doing what you've been doing. 47 guitars (9 Hamers for the scorekeepers) and assorted amps/effects etc all crammed into a one-bedroom condo has been great fun for me, but nothing goes on forever. At least the condo is paid for and I don't 'have to' do anything until I want to.
  16. No my posting is still there... it's titled "Perfect for your Partscaster" (although I accidentally made a double posting & got crucified for it)🤣... I bought 4 of these but bought them through Home Depot when they had a sale "because I also had a 10% military discount" on top of that... I think they're absolute great cases, especially for the price 👍 I also made a posting when I bought them, to show the different guitar fitting
  17. I didn’t look. Is that bad? 🤩 Dave was your deleted thread about this case offer? If so, you could have left it up. More that know can get one. Almost bought 2 🤡🤩😎
  18. I checked the pups in my son's SG which I really like the sound of and they are custom buckers. It's a long Tenon model but I don't know what year it is. The pups are original to the guitar. I keep trying to trade it away from him, but he knows he's got a great player!!
  19. Why is "shirt" singular and "pants" plural?
  20. Yesterday
  21. I threatened to have them turn the brown truck around but he gave me 400.00 off of the newport. It is really nice , all of the Hamers they had came from one guy from Buffalo.
