I expect he will catch some crap for that part, from wheelchair users and their advocates. I don't remember who it was and therefore can't give credit for the quote, but it was memorable enough that I have remembered for a long time: "I'm not confined to a wheelchair. Confined is what I would be if I didn't have a wheelchair."

Props for the newbie using "IBS" to properly annoy Kiz. ETA: Hell, when I saw your "Bill Ward IBS" title, my first thought was that Bill had died. 😂

Thanks, man! Who doesn’t like a good Fireglo? Was talking with the Real Guitars guys and we all seemed to agree Ric had the most stylized guitars of the 60s. They weren’t usually employed in surf music, but they really have that cresting-wave, SoCal vibe. I think they’re beautiful.

What's a good blues/jazz neck pickup for Tele?
Saul Goodman replied to hamerhead's question in Ask the HFC Experts
Twisted Tele in the neck for sure. -
Made even more fun since Ric stopped slotting the headstocks all the way through.

I liked the post because it's great to hear someone with a positive attitude pushing forward with his life. Good on you sir as they say... I felt a little weird about the 'like' though; I like that he's positive but not that he's facing the challenges in the first place. It's like Netflix asking me after I've watched a documentary about Nazi Germany or the Holocaust. If I rate the documentary with a 'like' will that endorsement get me onto a watch list? I don't like the atrocities but the documentary was well done.

What's a good blues/jazz neck pickup for Tele?

Alnico II or III Single Coils (e.g., Seymour Duncan Alnico II): These soften the treble response and provide a spongy bass, making them excellent for rolling off the tone knob to achieve a traditional, woody jazz or smooth blues tone without ice-pick highs. Charlie Christian Pickups (e.g., Lollar CC): Revered by jazz greats like Ed Bickert, these large, blade-style pickups provide massive, punchy output with a brilliant, piano-like clarity that handles both swing and blues effortlessly. Low-Wind Humbuckers (e.g., Lollar Imperial Low Wind): Many players route a humbucker into the neck position for thicker, warmer, and more airy tones reminiscent of an old Gibson ES-335.P90 in a Tele Cover (e.g., Harmonic Design Super 90): Gives you the fat, mid-range growl of a P90, adding aggressive bite for blues leads and a dark, jazzy warmth, all without needing major guitar modifications -

Had a BK Mule in the neck of a 1995 Special. Best neck PU I ever had! -

I don't keep up with all the newer brands and offers but I think the Bare Knuckles Yard bird neck pup would work pretty well at that task. Great for blues and supposed to be terrific for jazz. -
Props for the newbie using "IBS" properly.
