Caught Type-O several times; once opening for Danzig in Pittsburgh (if I recall correctly) and once headlining in Philly on Halloween night at the Troc. That show was among my top 5 most memorable concerts!!

Oh, yeah. '84-'90. Saw everybody there. Of note was a Mentors show that was unreal. Guitarist, Sickie Wifebeater, was ripping it up on top of their inherent silliness.

I saw Type- O in 1994 At a tiny venue called Berkeley Square on university Avenue in Berkeley CA.hey @Rob did you ever make it to the square?? At one point Peter Steele was razzing the guitar player for dilly dallying between songs, and I Quote: Hey Ritchie, hey Ritchie Blackmore, Over here, hey Ritchie ( f-ing hilarious!). They were great ( and played Seals and Croft’s Summer Breeze)! I saw an early version of the band ‘Crowbar’ at the same venue a few years later.

I say the same thing for fixed bridge/hard tails.

Savatage/Metal Church/Armored Saint. That's a dream bill we'll never see in the States. Ah, well...two outta three ain't bad.

Don‘t talk about that. I got tickets for the 92 or 93 show of Sava in Berlin. I stupidly sold them in order to see something else the night before the show. A few months later Chris Oliva died…

Haha. The only FR I'm even tempted by is a Baby Floyd. I have no use for what an FR does. It's a solution to a problem I don't have.

Getting thread back on track

I thought I saw Cheap Trick at JAXX there once or twice. A.I. says "no!" LOL Cheap Trick never actually performed a standard public concert at Jaxx in Springfield, Virginia. [1] While Jaxx was famous for hosting rock and metal legends—ranging from Ace Frehley and Steven Adler to White Lion—Cheap Trick consistently played much larger arenas and theaters when touring the Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia regions. [1]

@mrjamiam I honestly bought it from my friend to free up his cash flow and to be the main person he goes to for selling stuff. About 1/2 the stuff he sells me I like, and the other half has a Kahler, FR, or is for some other reason not my vibe. If you're interested hit me up.

I'm still remembering Chris every time I hear, "Handful of Rain," or, "Dead Winter Dead." Sad his widow died several years ago too. So many people have died connected to this group and TSO.
