After an extraordinary run of bad luck, the Buy No Guitars Challenge 2013 prizes have finally arrived. Were I a man of means, you would have all had new guitars for your efforts. As it is these will have to do, but I wanted the prize to be worthy of your resolve. I will try to scrounge enough boxes to have them on their way soon. Again, congratulations to everyone who made it. As we all know, it's no small accomplishment among this community of enablers. A little package arrived today!! Thank you Mitch. This is really an over-the-top prize. And I'm sure it wasn't cheap either. I really wasn't expecting anything but acknowledgement on the HFC board, What a Cool thing to do!! Thank you very much. I Really appreciate this award.

Those are very nice awards. Almost makes me wish I had held out. But then I remember what I won in Doug's 'Buy as many as I can challenge' It was a very good year.

Mitch you really went above & beyond. Just got mine today, arrived on my birthday even. Best B-day present ever. This little sucker even has a mini replica of a functional guitar stand! Mind = blowed. Hats off, good sir. Edit: what I really meant to say was, Thank you!

Thanks all. I just figured a decent prize was in order. I wanted Standards instead of Vectors, but that was an even longer delay.

Two thoughts- 1) Wow. Very cool of FeynmanIII to go to the length he did, to commemorate those who succeeded where I failed. 2) Looking at my stable of additions, I'm perfectly happy I failed.

Admin chaps, could you introduce a new HFC membership level for those of sufficient status... Based on things like this... "Epic Legend" for example... Or "The Ultimate" Could be a challenge in itself for suggestions from the rat of us. This is really cool stuff!
