  1. No way in hell he could afford them!
  2. Agreed 100%. We all are feeling for you guys. Very sad day indeed.
  3. I was very bummed to get that news first thing this morning. All the best to you, Bob, as well as Mike, Dave, Jackass and everybody else up there. You are all talented beyond words in many ways, and have definitely made an impact on me personally over the years.
  4. Truly the end of the end of the line...
  5. Correct. I've never heard ANYBODY complain about the headstock before the example in this thread, so I'd ignore it.
  6. I actually think the guitar in that reflection is a Guild Jumbo F-Series.
  7. Wow! What a complete dumbass!!
  8. The shop is located in the same old factory building in New Hartford as the USA Guild, Fender Acoustic and limited Ovation production. While most of the Hamer stuff has been moved around and the area dedicated for the final Hamer production is a small fraction of what it was, there's still some activity there in between the Guild (and Fender) production.
  9. Yes. Orders that were placed before the early December, 2012 cutoff are still being finished. Those are what we're seeing here in this thread.
  10. It's possible that a few exist, but there simply aren't that many B-4s out there. I really don't know why, because mine is one of the greatest basses I've ever owned. I guess because it's always been a custom order only, you rarely see them. Jack Blades ordered a white bass based off of the Newport platform, but most of the solid body B-4s I've seen were in his hands at one point or another.
  11. I LOVE the idea of adding a trinket or roadside souvenir to track the journey. Very cool touch.
  12. This picture is just SO damned cool! PEEKABOO!!
  13. I've found that most of the people who complain the loudest about the "shelf" on the Monaco line have either never played one or else rave about single cut LP Jrs, which have the exact same design. It has no impact on upper fret access, and if it does...you're doing it wrong.
  14. Well, that totally does not suck!!!
  15. Jem...once they discover the coke and alcohol, it's all over. You never hear from them past age 10.
  16. He did and does!
  17. The cost difference for a fingerboard is minimal.
  18. At last check, that one was in the House of Kiz,
  19. I think Jol addressed that in a recent PG column...
