Great looking amp. Congrats. That are one of those amps I have wanted to try out for a while but have never seen one yet. Need to take a day trip to Chicago & hit a few shops. Along with the Mesa Ta-15.

I took photos of the prints they had on display. They did not turn out very sharp. As a person who job's is making machine drawing like that it was very cool to see them. Those would be very cool wall hangings for the guitar room.

I think the thing that is killing Hamer right now it the base price for most thing are all about the same, You take a simple item like a special add all the fun stuff now it the same price as a higher end model & you have to ask yourself "for a few $100 more I can get a ?" It would be a cool run to do no doubt , just coming up with $2500 with out an notice is hard to do for most people. To me it something I would have to save up a bit for a while.

Drop all the bound bodies, inlays , just make a stripped down player. I am still after the org. idea. P-90 in the neck Tripple coil (or just Humbucker in bridge) Sustain Block bridge. Slab Body Special (or even multi-piece body Standard Mahogany to get it cheaper) Stock colors Vintage neck Carve DONE...

Someone from Hamer needs to tell us WTF is going on????? What CAN we now order? will there be any reissues? ...........?

I am just speculating here. It’s been said in the past the Jol was an employee. He was the creative force of the company. No question. He has a NO compromise outlook on building guitars. MAYBE Fender is wanting to building things there were not in the direction of Jol’s vision of Hamer, or maybe there just cutting cost???? WE might see things from Hamer that have not been built in a long time or we may just see nothing.

I have seen Niles used two different Phantoms over the years. I have seen Patty use an Artist Mahogany also(watch the Live from NY show) I would think since Springsteen & Co. use Takamine guitars that they gat a good discount on any Kaman gear.

At HFC 4 or 5. Hamer had its twin there. It was red with the Monkey Grip. On the top side of the grip it had a button that made the LED's in the neck light up. Jol told a story how he was working with Steve on the guitar as a Sig. model, but next thing he knew Ibanez showed up with the JEM.

I think it sould be a cheaper guitar. Like a Blitz or Sustain Block Special. but it SHOULD have the Standard 6 in-line Headstock. The body could even be multi-piece. Solid Colors (Red, Black, White, & Seafoam)

If you watch the Hearts Away Video, you can see the Brad play the Septer. I never knew of the White Septer, where is that one now? AS for the Strat Hamer built Brad , it had several necks on it before Brad I think just gave up. I think the final version had LED's in it.

I had wanted one for many many years. I found one on a trip to Japan for $1200 but I was closing on my house in two weeks so I passed. I got sniped on e-bay or did not have the $$ the few times (only 4 since I had been looking) they have been there. So I saved up & bought one after Hamer agreed to start making them again. So what happens I find on on e-bay for $550!!!!!!! LAST WEEK. It showed up today. It is much better then I had hoped. The carve on the top is a bit different then my newer version. Its a keeper, that is for sure. Karma was on my side that day. Its not for sale. "You can still Rock in America" Post some WATSONS Photos!!!!!!

I finnaly got my 3/4 Mahogany Standard a few days back. Awsome playing & sounding guitar. the short scale is very easy to play. I know BTMN has a Korina 3/4 Std & I think HamSTD has one (what does he not have at least one of) & a fellow HFC'er from Europe has at least one old one. Any one else here have a 3/4 Std? Now it got me wondering if Hamer will build any other models with that short scale.
