  1. With all the North Coast fun going on I thought I'd sniff this out but I have a gig that weekend too. Damn! Enjoy guys and gals...
  2. I always tell the young bucks that come in the store that the first guy to play a Daisy Rock with Pearl finish is going to garner more attention from the opposite sex than any other dude. IMO, the more comfortable (or non-phased) a man is with feminine things, the more manly they probably are.
  3. No Cruise experience for me but plenty of bass playing experience. I *never* use the bridge pickup, always the neck wide open. I do this specifically to get the most low end out of the instrument. YMMV.
  4. Now THERE'S a store slogan!
  5. Wow, thanks so much everybody! Busy birthday month! Thanks Jim for the classy ass pic. Anyone in Montgomery County, MD today? Stop by the Olney Tavern, I'll be playing 6-8 acoustic! Scored a $350 Pahntom!
  6. Nice guitar Bruce & Al...
  7. Here's hopin'...
  8. It's a Monaco SuperPro (Ultimate Quilt). Chambered, probably less than 7lbs. And yeah, I guess I won it (sales incentive program).
  9. Wow, congrats! I got to do the same thing once and ended up with this: A small sampling here: Hamers
  10. Anytime you and me are in the same place I wanna do those with you. Good poop. Can we do World's Forgotten Boy (is that what it's called?) too?
  11. 10-4 to a great dude.
  12. Read on the Gear Page and on a Gibson sponsored forum that these came from a disgruntled ex-dealer. Gibson is trying to find out from where...
  13. Wow! At least Fender's Costco inventory says "Starcaster By Fender".
  14. Looks great!
  15. How 'bout, "not on my watch".
  16. I'd get the Too Hot To Handle UFO Story...
  17. Damn, I'm gonna have to go ahead and pop open that 1778T and see what all the fuss is about...
  18. Wasn't it "Kock it on head, Bill"? Also I think they where talking about Personal Manager. Bill Curbishley?
  19. Classic lineup on the new DVD? Yes, in a way. The Michael stories alone on this thing are as worthy as songs! You gotta hear Phil & Paul doing MS's voice when they tell these stories. The Toilet Rendevous story is one of the funniest band stories I've EVER heard! Plutos tips are good, I'll add that if you're making a choice between the 2, go with the Too Hot To Handle UFO story video.
