Took a road trip to Atomic Music in Maryland for the first time. Great experience. Saw 3 Hamers they have listed on Reverb. Centaura: Beautiful finish, looks nicer than pics. Artist: I have never seen one in person. Very attractive guitar. Goldtop: BEAUTIFUL. 9.27 lbs. Did not play them and can only comment on appearances.

At the risk of hijacking my own thread, how did Geezer Butler not go bonkers playing that bass line to Heaven and Hell?

Yes!

Just my opinion!

That's a very good guess. Almost as predictable! A watch. Well, a Swatch that is only available there.

I'm looking for help with a small, non-guitar transaction.

Pretty! -
I got lucky with a good pic in the sunshine. I had taken advantage of tips from the board on getting the guitar cleaned up. Currently has a brass nut. Not sure if I should change that. Same goes for the volume pot for the neck pickup, which has some dead spots.

Have not seen Spinal Tap sequel discussed

Far from the most iconic scene, but this one--specifically the look on band manager Ian Faith's face after Bobbi Flekman says "money talks and bullshit walks"--may be my favorite. Starts around 3:10. -
Random (Music and Guitar Related) Thoughts Thread

If it makes you feel any better it is more like $1200/ year from Google search. Which I would bet is way on the low side. (Not to ruin the joke!) -

Dumb question but is this a reference to a particular pedal? You know, just in case I need a coupleâŚ. -

I love when they pull some deep cut or include some unexpected song in the setlist. Sounds like you are seeing them as a main act, not opener, which may increase that possibility. Opportunities like this one are not going to be around much longer, and I hope it surpasses your expectations. And that you get to meet them! But look forward to a report regardless. Robin's son Robin Taylor Zander has been playing with them, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. -
Trailer is at the link. A review: We hear about how Devo first made their mark by becoming part of the extended punk family at CBGB, where the Dead Boys welcomed them by beating them up, and where, under the influence of the Ramones, they realized that their songs sounded better when played faster. There were celebrities in the audience (like Jack Nicholson), and Mothersbaugh tells a great story about how after a performance of âUncontrollable Urge,â John Lennon came up to him and sang right into his face, âYeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah-YEAH!,â mimicking the songâs âShe Loves Youâ-in-the-loony-bin hook. David Bowie became interested in the band in 1976, and said he wanted to produce them, but he didnât follow through, maybe because he was in the middle of his own lost weekend. Their first album was ultimately produced by Brian Eno, who did a masterful job of coaxing out their subversive catchiness.

"Troglodyte" made me curious! Also "Ben" is underrated MJ classic. But I am sharing the movie trailer, not the song.

Well ever since I've walked I've heard men talk About the one that got away I've heard old men call I've seen young men crawl For the one that got away And in their darkest hours You can hear them say I'd give all I got For just one more shot At the one that got away *63 Telecaster đ˘

I believe there is no charge if the amp is compliant with U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement rules. And it is 25% if it is not compliant with USMCA, because of "emergency" tariffs imposed by the current administration. However, the courts may rule that the 25% tariff is illegal, in which case the government should have to refund you. Best guess. Don't make any decisions based on this. Sounds like you have already pulled the trigger.
