That looks great. But the pics remind me, I am always surprised by the number of people who don't bother to wipe down their gear before selling. Maybe the phone picks up stuff the eye can't see.

That explains it--they had that on a couple of songs and I couldn't tell who was playing from my vantage point.

...at The Birchmere in Alexandria VA. Didn't get any pics but people are starting to post clips on YouTube. Got there about 6:30 and the place was already packed. Show started promptly at 7:30 and they played for a little over 1.5 hours. A good mix of ZZ Top old and new (by "new" I mean "1983") and some blues mixed in. The second clip shows a bit of their bass player who was shaking the heck out of the neck of his bass most of the night. Very entertaining show.

I put it in the checkout cart but exited due to $160 or so shipping to my location. Still not a bad deal if I had my heart set on it but I don't. If I did I would make an offer. I saw one of these in person a few months ago and didn't plug it in but really liked it..... EDIT: My rationalization is that if you can get a USA Hamer for less than $1k, you should be able to play it then part with it in the future without taking a loss if you want to, or not a significant one in any case. Kind of like renting for free or close to it. I'm sure I am not the first one here to have used that "logic." 🤪

I didn’t have to pay tariff on Hamer from Germany a few years ago. FWIW. Would think twice before buying now though since if they do assess tariffs they would be much higher than in the past.
