Wraptail Studio bridge post bushings- standard or metric?
bry4321 replied to soli'd's question in Ask the HFC Experts
That looks great with the new pickup rings! I am sure this has already crossed your mind, but could you remove one of the bolts and take it to your hardware store to see if they are metric or standard? -

Post your favorite elect guitar restringing how-to videos
bry4321 replied to Pieman's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
1. Become famous. 2. Hire someone to do it for you. I learned this from Rick Nielsen: "I haven’t changed a string or tuned a guitar in about 40 years." (And that was 8 years ago!) In the meantime, I look forward to learning some new things from this thread. -

I can do you one better! I am really only replying for the benefit of international HFC members and others who may not be aware that Junior Samples was a character on the long-running tv show Hee-Haw, featuring Buck Owens and Roy Clark. -
Feel free to comment or critique but please don't make this political. Just sharing in case anyone is interested. "Tariffs are affecting many parts of society, but how are they changing the music industry? This highly globalized industry is a finely tuned ecosystem, harmonizing the craftmanship of high-end manufacturers with the mass production capabilities of countries like China and Indonesia. Musicians, whether world famous or in aspiring garage bands, must have access to instruments that suit their skills and budgets. What are the effects for musicians when exports of musical instruments are disrupted? How can tariffs, unpredictability, and unreliable supply chains be addressed? And if instruments become more expensive, do higher prices affect music education in schools? How do we strike the right chord?"

"How much more squirrely is a Newport compared to an Artist" may be my favorite thread title since I joined HFC @neastguy! -

I hope your troubles are short-lived. Hang in there. That's a nice-looking guitar, I love the black knobs and tuners with the green body. -
"Fast-forward to today, and this 1978 example revealed something I never expected… it once belonged to Grammy Award–winning musician Hank DeVito — legendary pedal steel guitarist and songwriter for Emmylou Harris, Rosanne Cash, and many others. "

Oh! I got this one from GC a year or so ago. I was very excited but as mentioned above the body is extra-thick so the guitar is extra-heavy compared to what I used to. I don't think I weighed it, but I knew as soon as I picked up the case that I would probably return it. Can't remember what the GC price was. I think it had the Tsunami truss rod cover that Peter mentioned and Duncan pickups and Porsche-sticker knobs at the time but can't remember to be sure.
