  1. Phoenix...check your e-mail when you get a chance. I would love to get some of that cream for my wife.
  2. My statement about Brooks and MCC wasn't directed at you.
  3. He can't...his boys would never speak to him again. Brooks and MCC...those bastions of BCR...right...so sad.
  4. And I loved every second of it. I never took it personal and it always made me laugh. To this day, I don't know what I ever did to raise your ire to the point where you threw me under the bus like you did. (not the photoshop stuff....you know what I am referring to.) But I would be *more* than willing to let bygones be bygones if it would bring the old, fun, Rechts back.
  5. I would love to see Hellrider try to hang with Rechts...ROTFLMAO!!
  6. LOL!!! Good thing her opinion doesn't count. Like El Guapo says "When you want ze woman...you take ze woman"
  7. Damn...seeing this stuff make me realize just how much I miss the old days. I would welcome having Rechts rip me to pieces any day of the week. The dude has a "rapists wit"...LOL!!! Nobody was safe from his wrath, and we would all come to the site to see who his next victim was going to be. (Poe starts chant..... RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS RECHTS)
  8. If you guys are telling me that you can still "get it on" like you could when you were in your late teens or early 20s.....you are lying your asses off. ROTFLMAO!!!! Screw hair...and screw the joint creaking...I want to be able to screw like a friggin teenager again. Of course, if you saw my wife, you would know *why* I want that again. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH
  9. Losing Libido...without question. I miss the days when I could get it on 4 times a day, everyday, and each time went for about 1hr....*sigh* My wife used to call me the Energizer Bunny. LOL!!!
  10. Oh lord...I forgot about that fake post from Joe. Unreal... I am saving these pics to show D when she gets back from D.C. This shit is just too funny, AND I AM THE ONE BEING MADE FUN OF!! LOL!!!! Sorry, but if you can't laugh at that shit...then you have no sense of humor.
  11. The pic of the strat with Kiz, Greg and I is still the funniest photoshop of all time. Everytime I see it I crack up. I remember the first time my wife saw that pic...she was weak with laughter for the next several minutes. Classic...
  12. Rechts...with MCChris a close second. Rechts still holds the title for all his fights with AnDy and Joe...that shit was legendary. He hates me now...for some unknown reason...but he still gets my vote. MCChris is the funniest dude I have met in person, no question. A close second will shock some people....Fung. Pete had me in tears the night at NAMM when I first met him.
  13. Who cares...the dude still brings it every night and can still sing his ass off. What he does or does not do in his private life doesn't bother me in the least. I'll go watch Paul Stanley and Rob Halford any day.
  14. "Pedophile"...NO...homophobe...absolutely. Wassamatter bro? Are you so insecure in your masculinity that seeing two men kiss bothers you? Move back to Jersey where the men are men.......and so are the women. ROTFLMAO!!! Jesus, all that fine latina ass down there and you are concerned about some dude in a tinkerbell outfit? LOL!!!!!
  15. Over *that* thread? WTF? That was friggin tame as hell compared to some other threads that are on the Outer Circle. LOL!! I stand by my original post. I have seen nothing in any of these threads to get that upset over. Sorry. He seems like a good dude, but if threads like those get you fired up, then the internet is not for you.
  16. ROTFLMAO!! Over what? Some guys not liking Priest? LOL!! Give me a break. If he is that thin skinned, then these forums are *not* for him.
  17. I was the original owner, and sold it to Jerseydrew. I had the Fralins put in, and BCR did the tort guard at my request. The tort guard was made from some amazing stuff that Greg had. It looks fantastic. It was either late 2004 or early 2005 IIRC. The guitar was actually speced out for someone else who had to bail for financial reasons. BTW...that guitar had a brush with fame...LOL!! I played it at our first Hard Rock Cafe gig. We absolutely killed that night and the place was packed. Halfway through the night some dude comes up on stage and announces that we have a celebrity in the audience, and he wants to play a song with us. No problem, he picks a song and comes up. It was Ginger from The WildHearts. At the time I didn't know who the "F" this dude was but I was willing to play along. So big rockstar comes up on stage decked out in leather and studs, and asks for my guitar. ROTFLMAO!! I look at him like he is crazy and tell him "absolutely not" He looks disgusted, but proceeds anyway. We play "I want You to Want me" and he sings....well, to put it bluntly, he sucked. He screwed up the words and sounded like someone was kicking a dog. The crowd that was going crazy became less than enthused, and when he got off the stage we went right back into our set. For the rest of the night our singer made fun of him...he kept saying into the mic..."Who the fuck was that guy?" The crowd laughed their asses off every time he did it.
  18. Exactly...I have tried several pedals that accomplish this. The right OD is sometimes hard to find. This TIM pedal is very cool, and doesn't mess with my tone at all. The absolute clearest pedal for a boost would be the RC Boost. The thing I like about the TIM pedal is that it can be setup for a boost, and then has another boost to give it the over the top sound we sometimes need. This setup, with my Fargen Bordeauxs and the cab that Cajunboy made for me is just amazing sounding. Damn shame I suck...LOL!!
  19. I use very little effects. The only thing on my board right now is a TIM Overdrive pedal to goose the front end and a wah for the rare occasions that I take a solo. IMHO you don't need a chorus pedal if your amp has a good clean sound. Unfortunately, a lot of guitar players overlook the clean channel and focus on the overdrive side of the amp when they purchase an amp. I don't need a delay to fatten up my sound because my amp is already very fat sounding and rich. I tried using compression, but it really only added noise to the chain and didn't add enough to warrant using it.
  20. I would welcome trades for other mics and/or recording equipment.
  21. That is completely bad assed. I am also shocked...Jol referred to Spalted Maple as "pallet wood" and openly mocked other guitar makers that use it at the last HFC. I am glad he changed his mind cuz that guitar is the shiznits. Great score.
  22. Looking to unload some gear to finance some recent purchases. I have two of these and one must go. These list for $895 and sell new for $599. These are killer mics. Excellent condition and includes the AT8449 shockmount and case. $400 OBO. edgarallanpoe@verizon.net
  23. You guys kill me...thanks for all your kind words. D and I are safe and sound and DEAD FRIGGIN TIRED!! LOL!! The quality of people at these things never ceases to amaze me. I cannot thank Ken, Bruce, and Chris enough. Ken and Bruce went out of their way to get me to and from the airport. Ken in the dead of rush hour on a Friday and Bruce at 7AM Sunday morning. You guys rock like no other. I cannot express my level of appreciation to MC Chris enough...the man opens his house to Denise and I and makes us feel right at home. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home. My wife and I loved the whole experience and I would love to return the favor someday. I especially appreciate the bed with the framing that allowed me to swing down onto the bed with some velocity...it has been a long time sice we have played "Me Tarzan, You Jane" The music was just awesome. I love playing these things because I get to play "lead singer" and sing songs that I normally don't get to sing with my band. I have wanted to play Love Removal Machine for years now, and finally got the chance. I would have played that song with anyone, but it was icing on the cake to share the stage with MC Chris on that one. Dude....we smoked that song, The Cult would have been proud!! LOL!!! Sharing the stage with so many great players and wonderful people is just an amazing feeling. Rob- Next year we break out the hair metal...I am thinking some Dokken, and some Priest would be in order. CTrixie - We will have to wait another year to redeem ourselves on Surrender Ken - It took some serious balls to get on that stage in front of so many people and improvise like you did...that kicked ass. Don't sell yourself short, you can play bro. Getting over the stage jitters ain't easy and you deserve a huge round of applause for that. Kudos. Butcher - D and I were shocked to see you there and it is always a pleasure. Damn, you can play. I love your easy laid back style and would give a lot of things to play like that. Mike - One of the highlights of the weekend was sitting down at the bar with you, Chris, and Johhny Thunders on Fri night. Denise and I were laughing all the way home about the conversation that night. Fun stuff...always a pleasure. Tom - I don't think that D and I will have any kids, but thank you for removing all possibility by sterilizing me with that damn Ampeg amp. That thing was so loud and shook my balls so violently, that I am sure I am now shooting blanks. Too many great people and players to list...and don't get me started on the guitars and amps. Some mighty fine equipment in that store.
  24. Your boy may have the chops...but you still have the look bro!. LOL!! Give him some hair pointers when you get the chance.
  25. This is why I love this place... I sincerely thank each and every one of you. This is going to be something I have to sit down and discuss with the band. If it were up to me, I would wind up blowing a bunch of dough and do it right...but it isn't only my call and the last thing I want to do is foot the entire bill. I know for a fact that we need to get a new head/mixer. I believe that the venues we play are small enough to be able to use these without sounding like shit. I will go and check out the Mackie tonight and see what I think.
