I wish I knew someone around here that had a VHT, my other guitar player swears to me that with the exception of the Pittbull UL, they sound like ass and I wouldn't like them, but a lot of people over on the Harmony Central Amp forum say they're killer. I wish I could do a Carvin like deal with you, 10 days to see if I like it... Does it have the footswitch?

For 50 watts it's plenty loud...whats kinda cool about the amp is...you can really get the power amp side working hard for more beef on the low end before it becomes too exceedingly loud....does that make sense?? And Damn!! I woulda sold ya my RM100M Not for what I paid for mine I stole it...Put it this way, if I e-bay it, I'll make $300-400 bucks on it.

Dude, you're killin me, I just bought a Randall RM100. Volume wise how does that 50CL compare to your old JCM 800 100 watters or even the RM100 you have?

Is your DC-10 a head or combo? SED ( Winged-C) 6L6's or EH 6L6's And EH12ax7's or JJ EC883 or 803's. As for more pricey stuff: NOS Jan Philips 12ax7's are super hard to beat. NOS GE 6L6's are the best I've ever tried in my Boogie .50 cal.

Prong-Force Fed, my favorite Prong CD song wise but what a terrible guitar tone! One of AC/DC's albums, maybe it was If you want Blood...Some of Angus leads sound like his amp is going directly to the board without a speaker load.

A boogie quad is four spaces but a boogie studio preamp is two and sounds awesome! A real nice clean channel and a real nice chunk/shred channel. And if you decide to sell the 2:95 let me know.

Skynryd for me, they never sold out . Aerosmith as much as I liked them up to the Done with mirrors album suck now, they are a bubble gum band, Perry and Whitfords guitar tone sucks, the songs suck, I hate what they've become.

I started listening to The Melvins( the Houdini CD is great and a couple of the songs just have made up words!) in protest of bands like Rage against the machine. I hate political bands, what do a bunch of million-airs like Zak delaRocka know about suffering or making $20,000 a year? Not that that's what I make mind you, but dude your living the American dream, your a rock star which is about as easy to become as a NFL football player or Astronaut. My first Hamer was a 97 TV Yellow Phantom that I bought from Shawn Davidson, you know, the one that everyone on this board has owned at one time or another. I thought it was great, I even put a Duncan Hot rails in it. But I'm a Floyd Rose type which is why I sold mine. Other than that, it was a great playing sounding guitar like every Hamer I've owned and played.
