Last time our drummer passed out, we drew ming the merciless/ king diamond graphics on his face with a permanent marker. Took two days for that to wash off. Next time he passed out, we spray painted his new nikes and socks gold while he was still wearing them.
Thanks for all the links, this is great. Gilmour is one of my favorite guitarist, and although I'll never sound like him, I can still learn tricks of his.
I know a LOT of it is in his hands, but what kind of fx is he using on most of his solos? I know he uses his whammy bar for a lot of his vibrato, is he using a chorus or a delay on for example Comfortably Numb?
Use the 4-ohm tap if the Boogie has it. Don't drive a 4-ohm cabinet from an 8-ohm tap. That's what I thought, my Boogie does not have a 4 ohm tap anymore since the mods, it has two 8's and a 16 now.
Any solo on Prongs Beg to Differ is in and out, Tommy Victor said he liked to get too the point with solos. Also just about any solo from Voi Vod, Piggy's solos were 2-4 bar solos, in and out baby.
Thanks for the tip Ken. Mark, they're the dual design...I didn't know they made different ones, I just buy the ones that say Dunlop Straplok on the box. I've used these for 15 years and never had one guitar drop or fall so they work for me.
Hey, I need a pair of the strap buttons that attach to the guitar, somehow I've lost a set, I've got plenty of the locks go on the strap but, I', missing the buttons...black, chrome or gold, I'll take them. Thanks, Scott
