  1. That's a shame. She was originally billed as the female Jonny Lang, I think they share a management company. He also had some substance issues and is now clean and attempting a new career as a "christian" artist. Just so happened that I bought the new Johnny Lang Cd as well. Not digging it. It's not his playing its his voice that doesn't do it for me. Glad she cleaned up. She sounds good.
  2. Yep, the darker line in the center is the grain running in the oppisite direction. Doesn't make it any less cooler.
  3. I remember #0051 well-KILLER neck on that one! I had it for 8 years or do and had the original pickups in it-I thought they sounded amazing in there. The head repair was a lot uglier when I owned it- BCRGreg did a great job fixing the fix. The Original Pups were long gone, by the time I got it. BBQ in the Bridge and Texas in the Neck. Sound awsome. Right now I flpped between this one and my Blonde Daytona. But evertime I pull the 79Darkburst out of the case that guitar just has the Look!... But some guy in PA. has my Lightburst and evertime I get a guitar back from that guy I can't put it down...
  4. Great version of "The Weight" on that record! Yes, I was exellent. I really, truely love the Record. Great stuff and I'll keep my eye out for more. I also picked up Chris Duarte Group's TEXAS SUGER.. another great record. These were not at least for me sure things. So I took a chance with both of them and I would recomend them to anyone. Duate is a badass! Great cover of "Just kissed my baby" on Texas Sugar Strat Magic! BTW Curfman has a new record out, haven't heard it though... That's an awsome song! That disc was a great find. The local Co-Op Records has 2 of his latest discs in the "NEW" sections. As for Shannon, I'll definetly get another of her records to see what's she's up to now. That disc is from 2000 and I opened it up tonigh to look at the booklet and It's autographed. Someone must have bought it at a show. If you like that song check out The Meters... Checking them out on Youtube, that good stuff. They cover alot of ground.
  5. I love mine, sadly the other Sunburst don't get played as much... The necks are Fat and awsome. Mine has a repaired headstock but it plays great !

  8. Looking for used Cd's today and She caught my eye. Then the Title of the album was Loud Guitars/ Big Suspicions, and I gave it a shot. Great record from like 2000 I like it and it does have loud guitars!
  9. No Watsons, just two Electraglides. STUPID rare carved-top Sunburst with Prototype electronics and a bound Standard headstock. There were two or three like this with carved tops and Dan Armstrong-style headstocks as well. Here's mine, the other didn't come with a P90: Serial is that one relieved on the Up and Lower Horn? Hamer started taking out what and extra MM out of the lower and that kinda looks like it was done on the upper as well. Could be the picture?
  10. Let me frigging guess. Ebony Board ! Damit.. My must have list is getting bigger buy the minute.
  11. Come to think of it, I think ArnieZ has one for sale..
  12. Sorry fella, I've got it on the bench now awaiting new pups. Looks like either Dimarzio Vintage Blues and a Vintage Solo or Protrack and two cruisers... I have 2 Daytona's but the Maple neck one will probley be the one to go. But just to I can get another Maple Neck in White or Black... Good luck on your search.
  13. Ya, but i've got one.
  14. Anywhere from $500 to i'd say $700. Sometimes less and Sometimes more.
  15. Well what about this one.. http://www.vai.com/Machines/guitarpages/guitar090.html
  16. I'm waiting for the 20 year old Monaco Elite Goldtop one of you bastards are relicing for me.. Make sure it has some nice greening and I'm buying.
  17. They sound great through my IIC+, and in my AxeFx with the Diezel emulation. Even with tons of distortion you can still play an arpeggiate a chord and hear the individual notes fine. With modern amps you don't need uber hot pickups anymore. The Heaven and Hell set could be cool, I'd like to try that one somtime as well. I don't think you could turn them to mudd if you tried.. Seriously, we all lavish some things around here a time or two, but these pickups will stand on their own. If, that is if you like Paf Style pups. These are no JB, ToneZone, SUPER D.. Not that type of pup at all.
  18. Thanks for the offer. Its a good price but 10 years of sitting in a stand... Hum, I'm going to pass.
  19. Lookin questionable. NO case, No Gigbag and he hasn't played it in 10 years. Where's he keep it? Awaiting an answer back. I want a black one and but I'll probly be selling one of my others. As far as the whammy goes. Just don't use it. Put another spring on the back to hold it downa and go at it. Thats' what I do.
  20. Bright, Full but more articulate than the Dimarzio's. They, well I have to say are like a HIFI PAF.. Very Defined if you play with a band you are going to be hard press to get lost in the mix. I let Greg know every time we talk that these pups rock !.
  21. Try a set Flynn. They are really great pups. I love the Neck Pup it is my favorite neck pickup. They Cut through anything. I have a set in my 4 Digit and they sound great. I will probly be swapping them to a Sunburst Soon. I'll let you know what I think.
  22. Correct. Now I need to get some pickups (those '59's aren't long for this world )! -Austin Hi Austin, Sorry to attribute the wrong sale to you! Congrats on the Quilted Limba Backed Studio! Looks like dboy wound up with the black Studio.... All that's left now is Limba... But my mind is wandering between a certain 4 digit Standard on the bay, or any great FM Special out there. Hmmmm...... Well you can't compare a Standard to a Studio. So if you looking for Studio Tones save yourself some money or buy a Vintage Sunburst and still save some money.
  23. Correct. Now I need to get some pickups (those '59's aren't long for this world )! -Austin Do you need Nickel Covers? I have a Black CC and a Zebra PG. I think I'm going to try to go for the classic zebra neck/double cream bridge combo, maybe Suhrs. I'm not going to think about it too much until I sell off some stuff though -Austin Well if you wanna, I've got a Double Cream SD Custom...
