Austin to the best of my Knowledge did not get the Black Studio.. another HFC member did. Austin Scored the Quilted Limba Backed Studio. They all blew my mind.

I'll miss him. I did see them before Leon died and it was a great show. They do sound awsome. VanZant is as close as you can get to his brother.

Read a little higher in the post... I dibbed it. They are so worth it, but I doubt that they go. These aren't just any run of the mill Studios. I love the Trans Black one and i'm still tooling around about it. Hopefully it goes before I change my mind.

You can say that again brother! Two that quickly come to mind is SirDouglas' f-hole GT Standard with one humbucker and one P90. Then there's Pirateflynn's Newport ... Fixed! ... and thank you. Ouch, there are a few guitars floating around the boards that will go down as a true HFC Legend. The Pirates Newport is one of them.

Belive it or not, it wasn't me... It was a good price I couldn't get passed the gold hardware. I've had a steller guitar buying year last year so, and some not so good buy's. So this years I making them count. I did miss that SuperPro that just went for 1,300.00 2002 Namm guitar. Sweet guitar. I'm a little gun shy and I hesitated. Hey there will be more!

Actually, that one's gone now. Just don't have any pics of the Z or ML together. Was a great guitar, but the original owner wanted it back really badly and just happened to email me on a day when I had GAS for something else. Darn... I love my Sunburst's but I Really, Really wish I had one with an Ebony Board...

I just shipped my 81 Sunburst to California, and it almost cost me 50 bucks. I can't image what this one would cost.

After reading the other 'Custom Order' thread, I'm not convinced that Hamer would do anything worthwhile for $5K each for a run of 10 or 12 or whatever. I'm not looking to spend that much green for a simple tweak or two here and there on a pre-existing model guitar. Of course, if they do a T-Bolt, I might be interested. Hum, that's the problem with a Phantom, there are enough out there for dirt cheap (Below 1k) . I started the thread just as an idea that we could get a unique hamer built for US. Something that would not be out of reach for most of the members. A traditional model, with some tweaks, solid colors would be good. the best suggestion we've had has been for a "Resession Friendly" axe. Those Korina Artist witht he Pickup variation were cool. Like a Tally or Studio or Hell a Standard, Transparent or solid color maybe a limited color something different that they don't offer and a HFC Limited on it somewhere. I like the idea. I don't think if would be a 5k guitar. But if 10 or so are not interest then so be it. We can move on. The fact that this thread is still coming up. I would say if we got model specific and moved forword Maybe somthing would come out of it. Mybe one of our dealers would like to take the torch. I have plently of things coming up for sale and will be looking to possible do a C/O this year. I would be willing to put my money were my mouth is.

It's been on the US ebay for sometime and we've discussed it in the FS section. Rare yes, awsome yes, but it's only worth what your willing to pay. He did come down from $12or $13,000.00 though. I'd wait it out...
