  6. What's the word? 4 Rocketeers eager to join you! The Jam is being done by Gibson corporate, not the Custom Shop Div. They are having the "event" at the Custom shop thou.... I do have a ticket that also allows three guests. BTO is headlining ... don't know about that one. Drinks, food not free, etc. They cheeped out. I would like a pre or post BBQ, gathering, Jam at the weekend of, So, please PM or email me when a good time to have so I can get a consensus of a time frame to have So We can have a good time, etc. Jay

Sound City heads A (then mint) Fender Harvard Tweed that I would gig with at the Owl cafe in Ballard, WA. Victoria tweeds many Fender Black faces. Geeze........ way too many.

  14. USPS is less than the other shippers. I have had great results and no problems. To ship a phantom, large box, to Netherlands cost about $170.

  17. Zorrow, you need this A5. You deserve it. A5's are badass. You are badass. Necks are like a medium C, (vector ish) so, your fingers will dance among the notes. Kahler has heavy springs? must have.
  18. Oh, you don't have to be a shredder to enjoy an A5.... very versatile guitar! Very cool!
  19. I know of on the gibson covers, that there is a "lip" around the edge line. What I have done many times~ A. place in vice with wooden sides on clamps. get the solder iron ready. As you snug up the can around the pup bezel, re solder, they will close up. B. If they are tight, but still have lip, you can tap around it to flatten the lip away. Sometimes thats all it takes.
