  1. Please sell them to your new buddy Dave!
  2. I have one, but it will be expensive. The flames can be felt through the paint on the top. Will Boggs "WB" GregWinds tapped and ready. Hasn't really been played.
  3. I don't think that's mine. It was never on the Robin site and Greg was the only one that took pics of it, before I got it.
  4. I contacted him about three times over a few years and he was gracious enough to sell it to me.
  5. Okay. Here it comes. "How much for just one"?
  6. There'll be no co-mingling. I promise.
  7. I received my autographed copy from Willie late last week. It's just fantastic. So much info that I didn't know. Five of my guitars are in the hundreds pictured in the book. Everyone that's a Robin fan needs this book. You can get it from Willie at willie@vintageguitar.com. He can autograph those. You can also buy it on Amazon. Every guitarist's library should include this book!
  8. It's Sonokeling (an Indonesian "rosewood"). The body and neck are Mango. I'm cautiously optimistic. It really didn't cost that much.
  9. And the offer's always open for you to "Check" any of them out of the library, my friend. Even the highly elusive Baker Bengal...
  10. Thanks. Here's another ES-335 style guitar I have hanging around. It's a 1997 ES-335 TDC. Not Historic or Custom Shop. Just fantastic. Took it to practice Tuesday night...
  11. Someday. My "stuff" is in three separate locations and not by "vendor". 😇
  12. My Savoy was consecutively built with the first Kizanski #1. It's a totally different animal than my 335's. Thinner with a carved top. Sounds very much like them, however. The Rio Grande pickups are the real difference. Dark and really expressive, when you dig into them. Great guitars. The Kizanski and the "matching" Savoy...
  13. Or "I have a better one for 6K"!!!!
  14. I have a G&L Legacy in sea foam green. It's an early one. Sold it at the Orlando show in the mid-nineties. About ten years ago, one just like it popped up on eBay in Orlando. It was my guitar. Paid $700 for it. Just a gem.
  15. Jason Isbell at the Ryman...
  16. I, patiently, waited for #0004 for years. After about seven or eight offers, the original owner decided to sell it. Played it at practice tonight after tuning it up with some lemon oil and DR Blues .010 to .046. This is just a fantastic guitar. One of the best I've ever owned.
  17. Okay, so I'm an asshole. I requested a quote from Robin Guitars for the same guitar I have. It's a Koa Exotic top Ranger. I think mine is the best one I've ever seen. They want $3,800. I'll sell this one for $4,000. It's built by Dave. Sourced through Greg Platzer. Excellent to near mint. No waiting.
  18. I'd buy the humbucker one, but keeping them together as a set because the previous owner wanted them to never be separated is stupid. I have cash. And I pay too much for stuff on a regular basis. I thought about finding someone to buy the other one from me, but that's just too much BS for one guitar and I don't want to lie to the guy. I'm out, if I was ever really in.
  19. That's cool. I found Ahmed on Reverb. He posts pics of previous work as for sale items and then custom builds whatever you want for the price. The same way I met Paolo Sulcuni in Italy that built my Korina Vee and Explorer and, subsequently a Les Paul style. My bass player is already in touch with Ahmed to build a matching bass.
