  1. I didn't realize this was a "For Sale" thread of a member (Doh!). I'm sorry about crashing the party. There won't be any more of these, so this is a great deal! GLWTS.
  2. This popped up on The Gear Page... FS - 1996 Robin Avalon | The Gear Page
  3. Valeriy Vaschenko LV Model "Tele-Paul" with a one piece beautiful Honduras Mahogany body and neck finished in a beautiful "TV" see through finish. The back and neck are "Gibby" cherry. Neck has a slight "V to C" shape and has a scarf joint for stability along with a long tenon. Rosewood board is Indian. All hide glue assembly. Inlays are ivory. Bone nut. Jescar stainless steel frets (plays great with .010 to .046). Finish is nitro lacquer. Schaller tuners, Graphtech bridge, 1" long DMC Vintage '59 bushings, and a switchkraft jack. Cloth wiring and braided shielding. CTS pots with Soviet .022u and .047u caps. Pickups are 8Bomb HB-1 Paf's (A2 and A4). Weight is just shy of 8lbs. Comes with a gig-bag. Guitar is slightly reliced. Everything about this build is pro. Rings loudly acoustically and looks killer. Price is $3,200 shipped in the lower 48. This is a steal. This build is almost 5K now. Let me know, if you have any questions.
  4. A good friend of mine from Michigan would call it, "A bucket of fuck"...
  5. This is an UncleGreg finish...
  6. One of the finest plywood bodies I've seen. Rarely seen sold in lots of six...😎
  7. I want you to have it back, Shawn. Let me know. I can do credit cards through my business. Or you can just take months to pay me. Right of first refusal. Hamer Forum "family".
  8. Charlie used to walk down from his house and listen to us practice. He would never come in. He would sit in his golf cart and drink wine for however long he stayed. Once said to me, "You guys play Yes"! It was a big compliment.......I think.
  9. Mine is #0221. It's a fantastic instrument. Re-fretted with all "period correct" parts and pickups. Got it from Bubs. Was, through a lineage not verifiable, Charlie Huhn's guitar (Ted Nugent, Gary Moore, Humble Pie, and Foghat fame). Serendipitously, Charlie moved to Belchase Court in DeBary Florida right about the time I bought the guitar from Bubs. I saw him gardening one evening when headed to band practice. I asked him about the guitar. He told me that he sold his to one of his best friends in Michigan and the guy still had the guitar. Then, Bubs told me that Dave Kenney sold him the guitar. Dave had a "story" for every piece of gear he ever owned. Some embellished. I don't know who owned the guitar. I don't know if any or all the hardware and pickups is original. I'm going to sell it. $9,000 shipped to the lower 48. I'm in no hurry. Local pickup will get it for $8,750. You could do Disney! I'll get my own "For Sale" thread going in the next few days. Here's some pics.
  10. I'm watching closely. Mine might go on the "block", if they pull five figures. Even 9K would float my boat. Dots though...
  11. Other guitar player in my band wants an Octave Box. I want to gift him a cheap one for his 70th birthday. Let me know, what you have. Thanks. DR
  12. My "material" can only be summoned when the price is double or triple what I'd pay. Having to qualify that this is apparently a "six pack" of these takes away from the effectiveness of the joke. This is just fucking ridiculous.
  13. He was a great dude until he wasn't. I never even searched to see if there was anything negative on the "net". I guess, in hindsight, I should have. I'm a trusting type. I wish I had Spidey sense...
  14. Now, he's threatening to sue me. That's laugh out loud funny. I spoke to a Middlesex County Assistant State Attorney yesterday. Fraud in the Inducement would be the charge. Supplied every stitch of info from the web to her today. Other complaints have been made is all she would tell me. She was also very interested that I wasn't given any documentation. Could be a sales tax issue as well. Next, I'm going to make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They have resolved at least three other claims for refund. The "fun" begins.
  15. My son warned me. He said he laughed about four times. I need more than that. I don't have that much time to waste (Kizanski is wondering if I'm dying and he'll get his Baker back)!!!!
  16. Probably like a Cheech and Chong movie. You just want more of the same from "Up in Smoke" and they give it to you. Not necessarily ground breaking or even in the same league as the original, but mildly entertaining.
  17. Thanks, Chris. I really thought he had his shit together. Just an excuse fest.
  18. I just don't want anything to do with him. I've been down this road. It will be years. He's full of shit.
  19. Now you know three. Paid him $2,900 a year ago Monday. He's never sent me a invoice, any pics or contacted me without me contacting him first. Stopped responding to my texts about two months ago. I blocked him on FaceBook and told him to call me when the guitar is finished. He's gone on a rant (but subsequently pulled it) about how he's just one man and blah, blah, blah. He promised me six months to a year. He's done nothing. Ian Anderson all over again.
  20. I played one at Guitar Center in Orlando. I really liked it.
  21. This is the guitar in question...
