  1. $1,900 pp/sh CONUS. Lightweight and plays like butter -- beautiful 10 top tortoise flamed maple top & HFS/Vintage pickups, tremolo, trem arm, papers and clean, smoke free OHSC. Solid bird inlays, natural wood binding and upgraded 3/way selector w/ push/pull split (vs. 5 way rotary/blade). Pics show guitar in natural light (pic 1) and sunlight. White spots are reflections. Per documentation, the neck is a “Standard” (aka Regular) – which, as I understand, is very similar to the new/current ”Pattern Regular” round neck shape. One bb sized ding on binding on bottom of front of guitar - see last pic - otherwise super clean and no modifications or repairs.
  2. Not sure if its a centura chap or something else - says USA and neat color and gig bag!! No affiliation: http://nashville.craigslist.org/msd/4396204561.html
  3. I have a CT6 and DC127 and very happy. Excellent craftsmanship and value, especially in the used market.
  4. Nicely done - warm (brown) tone w/ lotsa gain and bite.

  6. +1 on power block - never had to use it but good to know its there. I also stash spare tubes in gig bag (in small pieces of PVC to protect them) just in case - last Friday I busted an el84 setting up at the gig by tugging on the Classic 30 (great grab n' go amp for smaller venues) power cord which was stuck around a tube & spare to the rescue!
  7. '79 dark burst another shot w/ sun behind me - now thats why they're called sunbursts!
  8. No affiliation: Listed as a hamer "special" - from Indiana store
  9. The friendship part makes this awkward - if the guitar fell long after you left then sounds like you were not negligent in hanging it, and it was a faulty hanger. If the fans or vibrations knocked down then again not your fault. Hopefully, the tape reveals an intervening 3rd party in which case, case closed. If not and given the manger acknowledged a pre-exisiting condition of suspect hangers and falling guitars then he needs to take responsibility and submit it to insurance or eat it.
  10. Congrats - really nice guitar and I find mine fun to play. Playing mine always makes me think of Allen Collins (Skynyrd)
  11. I can't decide if he's serious or not - its too comical - those timed head/hair flips in the classic piece reminds me of an SNL skit.
  12. Due to restraints on new compact home made board, I switched from pedal power to visual sound one spot - cheap and powers 8 pedals - I actually can power 9 using boss tu2 9v out. Only downside its 9v only. Been giging with this for 1yr+ and no problems.
  13. So used to the old look/feel - but new board is very slick. When I first got hereI thought I was in the ISP Community board by accident! Can it be better branded (like Hamer checkerboard banner)?
  14. Jason - thanks for that, very helpful and insightful thread.
  15. check out fender blues jr - its the loudest back-friendly and wallet-freindly 15w you have ever heard & loud enough to gig (unless your LOUD) - takes pedals really well. I did a few BillM mods on mine and I'm very happy with it!!
  16. curious why would one polish frets? is it aesthetics/cleanliness or is there a tactile benefit? if its a process that you repeat would a paper or thin cardboard template w/ cutout for one or more frets be useful?
  17. Ain't that the truth!! Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery!!
  18. +1 very happy
  19. Right on man - good for you, never too old to rock 'n roll I was in your fine city a few weeks back for the (stp) seattle to portland bike ride - great city and that REI store is an outdoor enthusiast wet dream!!
