shankyboy Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 I've been wanting one of these for a long time. The Panoramic Stereo that I picked up a little over a year ago is fantastic but it's a little underpowered for my outdoor gigs. This Twilighter Stereo is a beast. Same tonal quality as the Panoramic but with a lot more oomph. The addition of a mid-range knob is nice and the Wet/Dry options make for some interesting sound combinations. I can't wait to gig with it in a couple of weeks.
RobB Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 Nice. Would you use the line-out for the w/d setup? Into a power amp/speaker or another combo?
santellavision Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 The Pitch-shifting Tremolo on these is just mesmerizing!

I haven't really messed with that feature yet but I suppose you could do that or send to a couple of mixer channels for some Left/Right imagery.

tbonesullivan Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Awesome! I had a stereo rig long ago, and some effects are just so magical in stereo, though as with anything they can be a pain to setup sometimes. With this all in one package it really simplifies things, making them easy to adjust and use in real time. Sure they are a bit pricey but think about what you are getting. The built quality is also incredible, and they literally have custom made M branded varistors to make the thing go.
bubs_42 Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 I was at Killer Vintage a few years ago and a guy stopped in to look at a Stereo 12 String Rickenbacker they had for sale. The set him up into a stereo Twilighter and when I tell that you could feel, the sound I mean it. It just enveloped the room.

The Reverb on this one is nowhere near as good sounding as the Reverb on my Panoramic Stereo. I changed out the Reverb driver tube and put in a new tank to see if that solved the problem and no luck. I am taking it to amp guru, Jimmy Somma today to see if he can figure it out. Other than that, the amp is sounding fantastic.

I was just thinking as I remember that I had swapped the tank for a larger one on my VAC25 back then. It makes the amp sound livelier.
