'Twas a great day for...........me!

Had a wonderful two and a half hour conversation with my good friend Greg Platzer.  He used to post great pictures of killer Hamer guitars he delivered to customers here many moons ago.  The threads all started with, "'Twas a great day for...". We talked Hamer, Robin and all things current in our lives.  He has such a wealth of knowledge and his stories always educate and entertain.  I miss him here.  Wish he could come back.  Broken fences are meant to be mended.  Life's too short.  And this is my favorite forum.  Ever.

I stopped by BCR twice over the years and had a great time talking to him.  I was looking forward to the next time I might have found myself up his way when he got out and started doing the repairs exclusively and then Platzer Guitars.  IIRC, he also closed his For Sale threads with "Game over." when someone bought a guitar he had posted.

Greg, as of a few minutes ago, is "Currently Restricted From Posting Content" as he told me.  He just texted me a screenshot of the "error message".  

He says to thank all of you that forwarded kind words.    

I have lots of friends here.  I'm not interested in the "drama".  I don't have a hierarchy of friends.  They're all equal.  It's just a forum about guitars and a company we all love.  But I'm having a hard time with one of my friends being banned by my other friends.  I might be out.  For good.  Fuck it.

Mr Shark - don't leave. There have been more than a few misunderstandings that have been (or could have been) cured simply by reaching out. With everybody being so willing or eager to go to war over piddlyass 1st World problems, shit tends to get blown up quickly over virtually nothing.

I miss Greg's posts, and others who have left here over some real or imagined slight. It's the fucking internet, where it's pretty easy to take the wrong message from a typed sentence. Before thinking the worst of someone, cut them a break. We all have shit we're dealing with.
