My friends how are u today, i know the pic are no good , but i have a bet with my dear friend in Argentina,  its like a father for my, he send me this pic, he says is a haner usa, i told him form me its an xt series ( china) ....what do u see there?😃

100% Chinese.

It's the regular XT Standard model from the mid-2000s.

Look at the 12th fret dots.  If they are wide apart like a Gibson, it is not a USA Hamer.  

I think there were some 1970's Hamers with wide dots, but Hamer put them closer together for most of the company history.

It also has the ski boot headstock and 3 screw truss rod cover.

Why is he still saying that? It's very clearly not.

And how did you win a bet if they are insisting something that isn't true?

Becouse : the owner of guitar is someone very close to my friend, a monster guy who know everything about guitars, he has a collection , he has sell lot of monster guitars for thousend of thousend dolars , he is a master of the history guitar and, its imposible that me ( a little Argentinian boy member of this fantastic forum) know more about hamer  than this sublime guy ( this are the words of my friend ) , i love him bjt some time he is a little asshole ( sorry for my spanish) . So you ( all of u in this tred) and i know i win the bet  , so it is enough for me

Show them the back of the headstock where it says "Made in China."

...or have them show the prospective buyer where it says "Made in USA," which isn't there, or the stamped-in serial number, which isn't there...

It's probably best to let this person continue thinking he's got a USA Hamer but welcome him to discuss this with our own brothers Matthes. There are few people on here who know more about Hamer than the brother Matthes.

If u watch the first pic, he have a lot of guitar in his " collection" , supposedly all of them monster guitars, and this explorer " usa c is one of them.....

I ask my friend for the phone number of this collector, i wanna offer him the three fifty game.....i still waiting😂
