Ua D Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 (edited) no affiliation, https://intl.ishibashi.co.jp/search?q=hamer&options[prefix]=last it's on reverb also, but the store it is actually at is having a sale currently (until dec. 8th it says) and if you add it to your cart it's all the way down to $1350. It said Fedex shipping to the west coast was $250 for me. Don't see a lot of later hamers and very few in this color. Haven't seen many hamers with a flamed maple faux binding either. I just bought a guitar recently or I might consider this. Looks like it has belt buckle worming on the back and maybe a chip in the finish on the back of the neck. a.bandini Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 Wow, what a good price! Between this, the Blue Daytona, and the T51 recently there are some great deals out there. 3 Quote

Dave Scepter Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 This is in Japan, correct?.. may have to pay additional tariffs fees and such... It's weird that reverb has the shipping at $121.50 and the store has it at $250.00 1 Quote
Ua D Posted December 8, 2025 Author Posted December 8, 2025 (edited) You shouldn't have to pay tariffs on items originally manufactured in the us. But you are also at the mercy of the shipping company if they don't fill out the forms correctly, and CBP. Even then if it's wrong you can appeal it, but that doesn't mean it's not a headache. So yes you could be hit with a 15% tariff even though you shouldn't be and it might be easier to pay it then fight it for months with a guitar in limbo. so caveat emptor and all that. Also don't trust a damn thing I said in this post. Edited December 8, 2025 by Ua D 1 2 Quote

That is called, "Scrape Binding." 2 Quote
