RobB Posted January 23 Posted January 23 (edited) RIP This one hits hard. One of the great rock four stringers. Always solid and supporting the songs. Edited January 23 by RobB 1 4 Quote
DaveH Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Yeah, that's a bummer... And not that old either. RIP. 2 Quote
Steve Haynie Posted January 23 Posted January 23 The classic lineup of Scorpions set in motion what would define heavy metal. Francis Buchholz left us a great legacy. 3 Quote

BTMN Posted January 24 Posted January 24 At my second Scorpions show in October of ‘79 I was right on the barricade in front of Francis and Rudy. He was very cool to our whole section. With Aerosmith sidelined at that time with Joe Perry having recently left, I suddenly noticed Francis was touring with Tom Hamilton’s amps. After the show when I met them through an interpreter he told me he loved them. They shared management at that time. 😎 3 Quote
tommy p Posted January 27 Posted January 27 He was one of those guys who always looked really happy to be up there playing. Solid, supportive player. Glad I got to see him back in the Scorpions heyday. 3 Quote
