diablo175 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Works for me. Happy for the dude but not sure how lucrative or widely received QR is gonna be at this stage. 3 Quote
Steve Haynie Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I liked Jizzy Pearl in the lead singer spot. He left. OK. The new kid will hopefully win over some audiences. When Rudy Sarzo steps away again, Quiet Riot will be over. He is 75 years old, and moves around like he did 40+ years ago. 3 1 Quote
Brooks Posted September 29 Posted September 29 There was a QR doc several years back, they found this older guy who sounded like Dubrow. Later in the doc the guy is fucking up, forgetting lyrics etc, hope this kid holds it together. 2 Quote

The closest thing I have seen to a QR doc is the Randy Rhoads doc, which pretty much covers all of Quiet Riot until Rhoads joined up with Ozzy. Even from that you can gather that Kevin DuBrow was a freakin self-obsessed #*$(#)*$. Hopefully this new guy works out. Worked well for Journey! 4 Quote

Don't remember who it was. 2 Quote

I heard, never verified since it was pre-internet, that the band left DuBrow sitting at a bar as they left in the corporate van without him. That's how he found out he was out of the band. Any truth to that? Quote

Maybe it got mixed up with Pink Floyd being in a car and just deciding to not pick up Syd Barrett. That was another very strange exit, mainly because Barrett had pretty much become a space cadet by then, totally out of touch with reality. 3 Quote
