elduave Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Just read that Watson is gone and Reb Beach is in. Sounds like a bad split but I can't find any details. Anyone know what went down?
darc Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Night Ranger is still together???? Gotta try to wrap my head around that first.
kizanski Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Night Ranger is still together???? Gotta try to wrap my head around that first.Yea, me too! What's next? Steve Askew booted out of Kajagoogoo?
tombo Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 I saw something on TGP about this. Seems JW is not easy to get along with. Do a search on TGP for this. Night Ranger just made it to Nagoya. Reb Beach was with them. Great player. Loved his parts in Whitesnake. I'm not a Whitesnake fan, but I've seen the newest Whitesnake Live DVD numerous times and Reb is just a killer player.

HamStd Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Hell Yes Night Ranger is still out there playing!!!!They have a new CD with some very good tracks (not just re-release of their own old 80's tunes with a re-mix of their vocals-ok, they actually did that as well on the previous CD, but this is actual new material with plenty of good guitar licks which are sadly missing from today's music in my opinion) . Compared to ALOT of the crap music being put out today, it is nice to be able see and hear musicians that actually play their instruments.Yes, they are on the small club, Casino and County Fair/Ribfest summer circuit. The 80's are gone, but I can tell you none of them mind any of the ASCAP checks that come in for "Sister Christian and Don't tell me you love me". I view it as if you like their tunes or like to hear a guitar-based band, it is a great opportunity to view them live up close and for not alot of $$. They put on a GREAT show. Sure you can buy a DVD, but like most bands they are ALWAYS better live (and you can enjoyed that Funnelcake and a beer for $2.....LOL)With regards to Jeff Watson, I have personally heard both sides of the story and there is alot of politics there. Sadly like most bands, it starts off as a bunch of guys playing music together but just like anything that mildly shows a sign of success-rapidly turns into a business. Reb Beach is just filling in for the summer tour, He still has commitments (ie., tours) to Winger, Whitesnake and his solo efforts.Peter.
kizanski Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Hell Yes Night Ranger is still out there playing!!!!What - no news on Kajagoogoo?

HamStd Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Hell Yes Night Ranger is still out there playing!!!!What - no news on Kajagoogoo?Actually I did hear something about Kajagoogoo doing the "can we all just sing along" summer tour with co-headliners: Frankie Goes to Hollywood (RELAX) and of course the re-united Wham featuring George Michaels. Culture club was kicked off the tour when they found out that singer under the makeup and hair extensions wasn't Boy George. So they added Rick Springfield onto the bill. Now that is BAD 80's music.Peter
bruce919 Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Peter, Since Jeff out of NR thoes Watsons you have are now worthless you should sell me one & cut your losses.
