Everything must go sale

O.K., here's the deal. I have been wanting to rid myself of all my excess gear for some time and needed a good excuse to do so. While most of the funds from this sale will go to the black hole that is my unsold property (see my "any landlords" thread for details) and keeping the lights on, if I'm gonna sell everything and still play I want a couple spectacular guitars and something has popped up on my radar that seems to fit the bill. All the listed items are priced shipped and insured and I'll take the usual forms of payment but have to ask for half the fees if using Paypal. I'll be snapping pics and putting links to my Photobucket page so anyone interested can see what these things look like. Any in hand descriptions can be had by calling me @ 612-703-3990. Thanks for your interest! Here we go with the axes:

USA Schecter "Strat", 1997 model H-S-S tapped (all 3), trans red, rosewood, Wilkinson/Gotoh (VS100?) trem, OHSC 8/10 SOLD

USA Schecter "Tele", 1996 model, tapped Tele p/u's, natural oil finished neck/body, maple 'board, shows as dirty wood from grubby hands but amazing player, Gig bag $500

USA Kramer "The Pacer" w/beak headstock, uncommon 3 singles, black w/rosewood, Rockinger trem and all brass hardware(tarnished), all original except trem arm and one fine-tuner, HSC 8/10 $450

'78-80 USA BC Rich Nighthawk, Eagle body style, made in part or entirely by the Charvel guys back in the day when BC Rich wanted a budget axe, HUGE flame maple neck bolt-on w/rosewood, Mahogany body in trans red(really heavy guitar), original DiMarzio Super Distortions, non-original PU rings and knobs, the best sounding guitar I have ever owned. HSC 9/10 $750

Japanese stuff:

Jackson Fusion Pro, metallic grey/black/olive greenish, H-S-S(EMG 81 bridge, variable mid-boost), Floyd, Ebony 'board w/sharkfins, missing some headstock binding and scratchy mid-boost pot, 7/10 $275

Yamaha SBG3000, top-o-the heap solid body as played by Santana, metallic charcoal w/Mexican Abalone around the whole body, tapped spinex hummers(pull tone knobs), very nice and actually NOT a super heavy guitar like most of these, gold hardware in fantastic shape, extra brass pickguard included, 9/10 OHSC $1800

Yamaha SA800 ES-335 style, natural Blonde/natural mahogany neck for that classic "dot-neck" look, rosewood 'board(extremely dark - looks like Ebony) all original (tuners off/back on), needs one tone pot replaced due to split shaft snappage, 8.5/10, OHSC ON HOLD

Ibanez JS700 Joe Satriani Custom, trans red mahogany body and neck, bridge FRED hummer(mod), neck P-90, wrap-tail bridge, rosewood 'board, Ibanez' take on a P-90 LP Special - kinda. 8.5/10 $550

Ibanez Roadstar Pro 540Radius (JS body style), black w/H-S-S EMG's, Edge (Floyd) with rare "backstop" trem setting device still on board($100 alone if you hate it), rosewood 'board/basswood body, thicker than Ibanez shredder maple neck, 8/10 $500

late '70's Burny '76 explorer copy, all mahogany, all original, very accurate copy from the Fernandes family, repaired headstock break for extra authenticity(super solid), very "vintage" sounding VH-1 pickups (think PAF), beautiful mahogany grain with minimal wear, some gold wear, OHSC $475

Bottom feeders:

Fender Squier (Korea) '62 reissue type Strat, "E" serial w/ vintage bridge, individual pu routes (no pool here), rosewood 'board, Lake Placid Blue, great player that would rival almost anything imported today build-wise, with a pickup upgrade it would rule supreme, 9.5/10, gig bag $200

Peavey Predator AX, H-S-S w/ split bridge hummer and "blower" switch, Daphne Blue, trying hard to be a Jeff Beck Strat but without the baseball bat neck. Crafted in the USA but I can't get the neck adjusted right(buzzes above the 12th) and don't care enough to keep trying, 8/10 $150

Thanks for looking. Z

For you guys that like the 24.75 scale, the Jackson Fusion Pro has it. I would be interested myself, but the timing is off. I believe the necks are thin on these also. They are the same as the USA models back then, just made in Japan.

chris, i'm glad you're not completely throwing in the guitar towel.

we've seen a few "gear waterloo" posts lately, which,

short of loosing limbs or crippling arthritis, i can't understand (they'll want to play again).

are you gonna let us in on the "spectaculars", or will it be a surprise?

Could you shoot me pics of the Burny Explorer and the headstock repair area?
