I have a 2004 Hamer Standard in Aztec Gold with a Premium Flame Top and One-Piece slab mohagany body that I really don't want (but may need) to sell for a down payment on a new house for my family. I have the original Hamer hardcase, hang tag, warranty card, and Custom Order Certificate. The guitar was completed on May 12th 2004. I have played this guitar out. However, I have managed to keep it in Excellent Condition.

I also have a 2002 Hamer Korina Vector that I really don't want (but may need) to sell as well. The guitar is in very similar condition. However the gold is starting to wear off of the hardware. I did replace the saddles in the bridge with Graph-Tec Saddles, but I kept the originals. The guitar came stock with Seth Lover pickups. I didn't like the way the bridge pickup squeeled with high gain. So, Hamer arranged for me to send that pickup to Seymour Duncan and have it potted for free. Since they use a vintage type bobbin, those pickups have to be potted at a very low temperature. I have never had that problem again.

When I got this guitar, they weren't actually even in the catologue. But, I was looking for a V, and the Hamer rep mentioned that they were completing 3. One of which, I was told went to Brad Whitford of Aerosmith, the other was also a custom order, and the 3rd one needed a home. I have the original Hamer hardcase, hang tag, and warranty card, but this guitar didn't come with a certificate.

If anyone is serious and would like more information or make a serious offer, let me know.

Both guitars were featured in a picture I submitted to the August 2005 issue of Vintage Guitar Magazine.

Yeah...I'm actually curious what this Aztec Gold looks like...Greg's trying to talk me into it on a Vector Korina...

Here's one example:

Those are great prices for either of those guitars. I have an '01 NAMM show Korina Vector from when they reintroduced them (they did a run of 72 in 1997, in fact, the last guitar out of Arlington Heights was a Korina Vector-Brad Whitford got/has #1 of 72 of that run). An absolute KILLER guitar. I've owned pretty much every model Hamer ever made (other than a Mirage or some of the bolt ons) and my Korina Vector is probably at the top of the heap, below only one or two four digits and it even has them on just about everything.

While #72 was not the last one completed (in either AH or of the run of 72), it was logged in about two days before they closed the doors.

I don't want to speculate on a "last CT Hamer"-I'm hoping that they keep making these things!

I'll bet it was sprayed in NJ too.

I mean, after he let the thing acclimate to the indoors.

Gets cold in NJ.

And lonely.

I can't get pics up here. However, if you are serious, I send them to you via email.

Once again, the price is $1800 for each guitar (shipping included).
